Gauged the fan base several days ago. After the bye week and another complete meltdown yesterday what are your thoughts?

If he can bounce back and be competitive with Vandy, he'll finish his contract. 3 wins this season could save him.
We are lucky to have won 2 games and I am afraid this is all we won. It’s a damn shame that we have dans just hoping to be Competive with a team like Vandy. This is a sign it’s time for him to go when we are hoping to just be Competive against bandy instead of coming into the game expecting to win.

We need to face it. Vandy is our closest Rivalry. it's just who we are. Next season maybe we'll compete with KY and begin a new quest from there.

Maybe my opinion changes too easily but I’ve shifted to the fire Pruitt camp. This team has no business loosing to Arkansas or Kentucky. We’ve got the money and nothing to lose at this point. Hire Freeze

I was destroyed on this sub this summer for saying Pruitt is trash and his winning streak was fool’s gold. I’m happy to see more of you are having your organge glasses ripped off and are able to see this fraud for what he is.

It’s awful hard to defend him right now. Last year there was signs of progress against the lower tier teams like Ark. We are clearly going backwards.

I would have given more credence to the COVID restrictions on practice excuses the first few games where we actually looked decent but six games in and coming out of a bye to look that bad against another 2-3 team is inexcusable.

And it’s deeper that JG right now.

I'm having a hard time finding a good reason to keep him.. Hell people he CANT coach players up unless they're 5*. We can't even defend a slant pass. Give me a break

And with this kind of attitude is Pruitts fault and he should be held accountable for it.

The biggest mystery of all. How did they win the first 2?
I can only grasp at straws for the explanation. Their leaders are still butchies and they remembered who they were after the GA beat down.

Before you all jump into firing him. Do you actually think we'll spend to get a replacement? I don't. I think we hired him knowing he would have to learn the job and that is probably the same reason they gave him the extension at the beginning of the year. They wanted to guarantee he couldn't be fired.

Butch sucked, but we can't blame what we're seeing on him. This is year 3. Pruitt owns this. He's had ample time to rework the roster and fill in the holes....namely qb. He didn't do it. This is his coaching staff. This is his responsibility.

4 coaches in 12 twelve years and the program is still a dumpster fire. Firing coaches doesn't seem to work at TN to solve the problem.

I voted no because, forget other reasons, UTAD simply can't afford it at this time. They are taking a beating in revenue this year, his and his assistants' buyouts are huge, and we'd have to come up with serious dough for a proven winner. I don't see it.
