Not that the poll matters, but I'd be more concerned what the guys out in California think than the other states. The ones that actually know about Kiffin.

To be fair, the majority of fans are voting that Kiffin will return UT to prominence.

I just saw that. I think there's just a lot of people out there that only know of Kiffin through the Raiders debacle, so they automatically think he's going to be a terrible coach. I hope they'll be eating crow this time next year!

More say that we will be back within at least 5 years than say we won't. The poll is set up to look like a majority think he won't win with us, but the first two options have a majority when you combine them.

ESPN - NCAA College Football Teams, Scores, Stats, News, Standings, Rumors - College Football

at the bottom.

how many years under Kiffin will it take for Tennessee to return to prominence?

A lot of america isn't giving Lane a chance. :zeitung_lesen:

O well.

well, at this point the media/public is putting us forth like Bama was firing shula....

also, if you were to ask the public to predict anything about college football, most of them would come up with answers of USC playing Florida for the national championship each year too...their knowledge is either based entirely of the current year or just what espn shows or tells them :ermm:

You also have to take into account the fact that voters from rival schools are likely to pick the option of us not coming back just because they don't like us and that's what they want to happen

To he** with them all. Lets give the guy a chance. With Fulmer, whats done is done. Tonight was wonderful, he went out with a win. However, starting tomorrow morning a new age starts and I am very excited about that.

If the projected/anticipated staff comes with him, so will the accolades.
