With the offense putting up historic numbers and certainly Dobbs breaking records, I will miss Debords offense to a certain degree.

A new OC brings, yet again, learning a new offense and tons of uncertainty.

Will Butch have his new OC in place by National Signing Day? If, so when?

I completely agree it will happen in the next week or two, I believe it's Helfrich until it's it's not. It's gonna happen soon cause of recruiting it hurts us to delay, but could help us in recruiting with new hire coming soon.

The negas got what they wanted. If the new OC isn't here quick we will lose recruits that debord brought in. Still might if they don't like the hire.

It is unlikely to matter. Unless Jones allows a coordinator to coordinate it will be a bobble head doll position where he/she/it just nods, smiles, and says, "Yessir."

I think Butch already knows who it will be or Debord would not have left yet. The only reason he is leaving for Indiana is to open up a spot for Jobes to make a "splash hire".

Watcha got Butch?

Not an insider, but I expect an announcement within a week. We don't have Debord "leave" without knowing what's next.

Hope Helfrich is the guy. What he used to do with the Ducks was crazy, and only a couple teams were able to stop them. They were a runaway freight train. That would be great in K-town.

As much as I'd like it to be sooner rather than later, last time he waited until after signing day to announce the new coordinator. I'm sure there are pros and cons to both, not sure what they all are, but we also are without an AD who is able to approve big hires right now (as far as I know) so that may play a part in it.

If this drags out until signing day that means it will be an internal promotion. I honestly think Azzani / Scott will be promoted to CO OCs.

Need alot of speed at running backs to go with our QB.
