What do you think Leach did at Washington State? And with quite a bit less talent. Kirby Smart is a good coach, but I'm not ready to coronate someone in their second year. He was blessed with a great situation coming in and has tons of talent. Thanks Richt. So I have a hard time seeing how he's MUCH better. Saban? Come on..

Luke Falk was a 2 star walk on at wazzu. Only offer was idaho.

His true sophomore season(first season as starter) he went for

4500 yards 70% completion 38 td only 8 int.

Absorb those facts, and afterwards if anyone still has doubts they can....

We’re about to find out just how good Kirby is. Auburn PUSHED. HIS. S***. IN. The argument can be made that he has been carried by a loaded roster and beat up on weak competition.

Fair point, but he's also never had the resources that we can give him nor has an offense like his really been in the SEC. I think it'll attract some big time QBs and WRs. I just hope we incorporate the run game more in his system.
