Nico will be a top 10 pick in next years draft, so lets not kid ourselves into thinking there's another QB out there who can come in, between now and September and manage this roster back into the playoffs. I remember the Justin Worley's, and JT Shrouts of the world taking snaps under center. Nico walking will send the wrong message, and you'll see Georgie Mac and Faizi-Brand out the door, and we're back to the Nick Stephens of the world, getting starts on the Hill. Anyone remember how that all worked out?

According to reports Nico or someone in his camp already renegotiated a deal in December and now a few months later they don’t like the previous deal and want a new one , what makes you think another deal will be good enough this fall or summer , I guess using social media to get what he wants seems smart but for me it sucks , the precedence he’s setting for the entire team just wreaks , I know I have zero say in what happens but I’d let him walk for backing out of an already agreed upon deal

He has a ways to go to get there, considering he was middle of the pack in the SEC in almost all measures last year.

Oh it's a hell of a lot more than troubling. It's calculated. They want to drop a big ol' pile of crap over Tennessee's football spring game, and use that as extra leverage to force them to capitulate. They know this is the most visible period. They know exactly what they are doing to Tennessee - or trying to do anyway.

They are doing this to Tennessee on purpose.

And should we do so, I can guarantee that he isn't going to live up to the expectation. He certainly hasn't lived up to the hype so far, but with another buncha coin in his pocket the EXPECTATION would be much higher.

I dunno. At this point I kind of hope he does leave. As someone else said, this could be cancerous to the locker room.

Next man up.

If he proves it this fall he will be top 10, but as of now maybe a day 2 pick but that could be generous too since it’s all on potential.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 really??? He can't hit the broadside of a barn, makes a few good passes and the rest are high.... low... and 90% of the time over thrown he can hit some screenpasses which 99% of college QBS can hit, ok he's young... but he's not shown anything close to what we were sold on when signed for big money...top 10 pick you've lost your mind, he was the 12th best QB in the SEC...not the country...the SEC...and If he improves to that point I'll gladly be wrong but I don't think I will be. So we should just cater to a player who hasn't done anything??? Who wants reportedly 4mil on top of what he already makes...that's crazy, had he been lights out in his 2nd season in the system...pay the man but he didn't come close to that all he did was run out of bounds with the game on the line...all of this is just my opinion...of course

If all of this is true, then I will refer to him as Nico Guarantano from here on. If not, he should come out immediately to address the mix-up in the media to put the rumors to rest.

If his play doesn't improve over last season he will not be a top 10 pick.

If we do give him what he wants, which I'm not opposed to doing (Lord knows we have the money)... that Georgia game will come quick... better look like a Heisman contender or the fans will turn quick
