We would have been better of and kept Butch at least he had a recruiting class coming in with talent this hire will be like the DD hire will set the football program back 10 years.

How on earth are you trying to pin this on the fanbase?

The AD sat around for 8 weeks doing absolutely nothing because Greg Schaino was his first and only pick. He let the fanbase continue to expect a homerun hire and instead trying to secretly pull Schiano in before anyone could notice. How did you expect this fanbase to react? The reaction was laughably predictable. If there was a failure here, and there have been many, it came directly from John "Yes, Mr. Haslam" Currie.

We hire this guy and its 3 more years of pure misery...He won't last beyond that...If we are going to just go the desperation route then go after Mike Houston at JMU...I would be more at peace with him than this bozo and that is the bottom of the barrel pick for me...Great coach btw just would have to get used to being in the spotlight all the time.

At least we will have a chance to win, i know we will lose with Dave 1 thing he can't recruit another thing he can't coach even Butch beat him do i need to say more Butch beat the man.:thud:

When will this fanbase base accept the facts no so called big name coach will come here most are afraid of the SEC, all you got to do is look at the history Johnny came marching home in 77 but he was one of our own so you young guns get ready for a lot of DD Butch Jone's AND BIG BAD DAVE'S that what will be leading our football team over the next 25 years RIP my friend TENNESSEE FOOTBALL you are DEAD.:cray:

I am sure Dave is a good man but he will be in wayyyy over his head with this job...This job can be career suicide if you don't do it right and he is just not the guy for the job...One bad play call and this fanbase will want your head..Stay at NCST where there is no pressure
