That’s the problem though. Kiffin loves him some Kiffin and the media is happy to oblige. All we did was give him a pedestal. A few imbeciles essentially ensured that every single remaining game we play this year will be about Kiffin. It will be discussed at the opening of every game broadcast and video clips of it will be played. Every single game this year.

And it’s stupid every single time. In our case it’s even more stupid than normal. Our fans should know that this just feeds the narrative about UT and gives Kiffin exactly what he wanted. In a game against almost anybody else, the story would fade away after a couple of days.

Actually a golf ball is a very hard object. Some might consider a dangerous projectile. I wonder if LK could file an attempt of manslaughter charges...;)

The fans knew Kiffin was pulling the injury BS all game long…. They also knew the officiating was absolute horse 💩….throw in some Ole Miss players taunting the crowd and what do you expect?

Yeah, it takes a big man to hurl a bottle at an innocent, hundred pound cheerleader. They really showed her. And speaking of loser mentality, I’m curious whether all these internet tough guys think that what happened last night is more, or less likely to help us win in the future?

Will the refs be more, or less likely to give us the benefit of the doubt?

And what happens next time if the calls don’t go our way? Are we going to march on Ayres Hall and break stuff? Maybe rough up some of our own security guards? Loot our own stuff maybe?

Very disappointing that we have over 17% on VN condoning this bad sportsmanship. Booing a call is acceptable. Cheering when it appeared Matt Corral was injured was unacceptable. Throwing objects on to the field near the opponents bench was unacceptable. The Jerry Springer antics of those who want to get on camera and act out their anger is getting old quick. This doesn't mean the majority of people are classless, but the bad behavior of the minority is demeaning to the civility of society as a whole. Previous generations would take offense to behavior that we now accept as a new normal. But it is degrading to a polite, sober, and civil society of decency and honor.

During the 20 minute delay, players of both teams came together in good natured sportsmanship despite all the ugliness in the stands. The players understand sportsmanship. They don't applaud injuries or condone fan violence despite being the main combatants in the sporting contest and the competition between them. You would think that after a morning of reflection and the bad publicity it brought the university that nobody would be defending that spectacle.

Yeah, there were bad officiating calls that went against us. Yeah, something must be done to address fake injuries. But nothing will ever excuse the bad behavior on exhibition at Neyland last night or defending it in any way afterward.
