Dude, you were making a pretty good case, then proceeded to look like a little bitty kid who has an obsessive dislike for one of our guys.In the last 2 games JJJ has played 34 minutes against Purdue and managed to score a whopping 3 points. Today against Kansas he played 34 minutes and managed an IMPRESSIVE 4 points.
In 68 minutes on the court, a total 7 points.
You almost have to try to be that bad.
But, hey man, hey, did y'all see that? Did y'all see that crazy steal JJJ just made? Huh man did ya see that? Man that's my guy what a heck of a steal. Oh and also did you see that rebound that went right to him? That was badass
Yikes...didn't think you would so boldly confirm your ignorance on thisSeveral, because reducing JJJs playing time down to 12-15 minutes, or fewer, will mean they will have to play better talent sitting on the bench and different combinations, which by default with give Knecht more valuable minutes vs sitting him while he has the hot hand.
The comments and faux wisdom from rando posters who come into the basketball forum after every loss are akin to what I'd imagine the comments I'd make on the American Heart Association message board telling real life doctors how to place a stent.
Also the comments they make on things that have been discussed ad nauseum over the entire off season. The comments and faux wisdom from rando posters who come into the basketball forum after every loss are akin to what I'd imagine the comments I'd make on the American Heart Association message board telling real life doctors how to place a stent.
Problem is JJJ never has and never will play like a 4. He believes he's a 2. With his size and length he could really give this team a boost if he'd do some low post work on offense. Just doesn't have that mentality though. Nice kid but plays a little soft on the offensive end IMO.Defense, intangibles, and there aren't many 4s on the team. Knecht can score the ball, but he has lapses on defense and boxing out.
You do realize he is playing the 4 at 6' 6" right? Pls hazard a guess at the %'age of games his "size and length" give him in advantage in the post (hint: it's rarely if ever).Problem is JJJ never has and never will play like a 4. I don’t have a great way to double check, but I think Knecht had 2 second half points against cuse, 3 against Purdue, and 1 against Kansas. He led us in scoring in all 3 games but completely disappeared in the second half. To me that screams fatigue.3 points against Purdue and 4 points against Kansas?
