Agreed ....but why were they being asked to beat people deep when they could not physically do so ???? This same bunch of receivers under Cutt gained 3675 yards running slants , crosses , and outs . Horrible scheme for the athletes available .

I think everyone would agree with me in saying that group of receivers was probably the worst athletes we've had on the edge in a while.(Rogers,Taylor, and Briscoe all three of them)

I don't, we had far worse with casey clausen. We just didn't have a QB who could get the ball to them this year

Who? I think Stallworth, Washington and Witten were a heck of a lot better. Also James Bank, Chris Hannon and CJ Fayton were better athletes.

TennesseeJack, thanks for the JV footage. I know it was only Hargrave, but looks like Coleman made a few throws, and guys on the other end made a few catches. We'll see what happens for them on a bigger stage.

Only Hargrave..... Having graduated from one of the many Military Academies in Virginia, I can tell you Hargrave was one of the best. My alma mater: Fork Union, recruited like a mofo, so we were top dog, but Hargrave and Fishburne were amazing as well.

Yeah, no disrespect intended. I know Hargrave had people like Walls and Mackey and others that would go on to other SEC schools. Isn't that where Vinson was the year before?

I look for Ahmad Paige to make a splash this year. However, it is hard to tell. Fulmer never let him play so we really don't know. The only thing we have to go off of was his recruiting out of high school and the JV game against Hargrave, and he tore it up. I think he turns out to be a good receiver.

Looking at the JV tape he had some pretty good moves. Something that this offense was missing last year. But that was a JV game so I'll wait til I see him in league play.
