Alabama is #1 and UT is unranked.

UT looked great last game, but that is the first game against a good team Crompton has played well. Sounds about right.

The only reason I don't think it sounds right is because they've yet to be beat by more than 10.

Id buy up to +20 if it were me...I THINK +17 is a gimme though ...I paid for my season tickets pretty much +30 at Florida...do the same this weekend and live the good life..

That's a big line, for TN/Bama
Especially with Bama's passing game, and being really one dimensional with Ingram

I think this also has something to do with the chance % of JC having a game like he had against Ga. I am sure they are all thinking he won't have that type of game. If he does have a good game like against Ga. then this would be easy money in my opinion. It's why they call it gambling.

That's kind of my thought. They are playing the odds that JC isn't going to have back to back career high games.

I not saying I agree with the line but UGA is horrible this year. That gave up 721 yards combined to Mallett and Garcia. They combined for 300 against UA. Having a career game passing against UGA doesn't merit much.

I still think the game will be closer then the line though.

I think we will cover the spread cause against UF we shut their run game down they just had Tim Tebow not saying UF has backs the caliber of Ingram cause they don't Bama doesn't have a Tebow so i think we keep it close.

Sagarin predictor Alabama 94.17 - TN 80.31 + 3 points for home team = 17 point opening line

Agree -- I think we play it tight to the fourth quarter and hope for a break at the end.

But -- we need to treat this game as we should UF -- no field goals ever -- go for a TD.

Alabama one dimensional? Pot calling the kettle black....

McElroy had his worst game of the year against the Lamecocks and we still won by 2 tds. Crompton will have to have a career game for TN to win, but who knows he looked good against GA but GA has no defense.

IMO 17 is way too high. Of course I hope Bama covers, but right now I'd take a one-point win and walk away happy.
