As of today at noon, I have only recieved one poll. I will need a minimum of at least 5 to compile a semi-fair poll. So, if you have voted in the past or have wanted to vote but never have, submit a poll. We need some voters!

I will have one together in the next few minutes. It's just a little tougher to find the right 25 teams, and to put them in order. There are so many "good" teams that are ranked or have been ranked that already lost 5, 6, or even 7 games.

Thankyou for putting that list on there. It helps when you get to about 15th.

By the way, I think anyone that votes UT into the Top 25 in this poll should have theirs thrown out for incompetency.

Guarantee you at least two people will do it.

You're probably right, but you'll have that here at Vol Nation. To be fair to those who do it, I have Winthrop and Southern Illinois in my top 25. I'm pretty sure Tennessee could beat them, but UT's resume is going downhill at this point.

even if we beat florida this weekend we don't belong above the gators at this point. i have Virginia Commonwealth in mine, although i think a healthy UT gives them a run. As for putting UT in, if they can keep Bama in the poll why can't a volnation keep UT in? (ps, i don't have UT anywhere near my top 25 right now)

If Tennessee beats Florida this weekend, the last thing on my mind is going to be where to rank who.
This would be a monumental upset, we just dont have any real consistant firepower. Living by the three makes me mad, the three should be our (as you put it ) other gear if we need it and not our offense. I am sure Fla is well rounded at all positions and we need more of that.

The team is stoked and the crowd will be in a frenzy, to which Noah responds. As long as the Gators don't play out of control because of it, it ought to be a crushing.

Tennessee was 21 in the official RPI heading into the Georgia game so it's not as big of a stretch as you would like to think.

RPI until 3/4 of the way through the conference schedule is not much of as measure of things. Have to see where things shake out and a lot of overrated and underrated teams out there skew it pretty bad until well into February.

Then you would have to throw out all polls and then that would defeat the purpose of this topic. :)

Well, the irony is that right now the subjective human polls are the better measure of who is where, whereas the RPI arguably at some point becomes more accurate than the people. Weird.

You're just mad because the Gators are 19 in the RPI. :p
