I think we had maybe 4 that went for 7 yards or maybe 8. The line has to play better

I'd like to see us put a blocking fullback in front of Chandler and Gray. If they ever get past the front 7 I think they could put up some big play numbers, both of them go down in a crowd too easy for my liking.

The thought goes beyond tonight's win. How many more can we win? This was a 4 win team. JG threw over his target all night and behind. O line was not what it was supposed to be. Defense can't stop any passes in the middle.

I'm glad we won, but its gonna be a bad year if we can't correct these things

It was the first game, on the road, we only had one good scrimmage and that was with people out, and we did WIN. Look at all the close calls and the upsets and just be happy with a win and we will continue to get better.

Chandler had a 20 and 10 yarders and Grays TD waa 12 yards out lol. No JG isnt our beat running back too

Banks has serious anger issues. Maybe Trey Smith needs to talk to him. Trey also had some bonehead plays last year and has a lot of fire in him. I think Banks would respect him and listen to him. Trey is a leader and would probably know the best way to approach Banks. Just a hunch.

Regardless of how little I know, I thought Banks looked awesome for just getting back in the mix and I hope that he continues to keep a positive attitude and gets through his stuff, because it will prevent him from being the star that he can be.

To the other poster’s point, JG has indeed cost us a lot more than any player on that roster. I cannot imagine him keeping the job for the entire year if he continues to play like that. If he does and we have noone better, it says a lot about Weinke. The guy had six potential QBs at one point.

It's hard to be a cohesive unit when you're rotating o-lineman. Unless someone is injured, i don't understand why they do it ?
