Stop posting comments in the "HOT RECRUITING NEWS (link)" thread. It's fairly obvious that the thread is for posts citing updates on recruits and that all commentary on said updates should be put in the respective recruit's thread.

Plus I'm sure the mods are tired of deleting people's "GOOD NEWS GBO!" posts.

Unfortunately there are trolls and a few jerks! We need to call them out! GBO!!!!

Amen! Not to mention some of us monitor specifically that thread to see when something worth paying attention to happens - getting pretty old expecting something newsworthy and getting this instead.

i would think if the mods were concerned, they would address it, based on their past actions

and LO freaking L at worrying about whats posted on VN while at work.

We've posted the guidelines several times and continue to remove posts that don't follow those guidelines. I'm not sure what else we can do apart from suspending repeat offenders.

Lots of people like to check that thread at work instead of trying to filter through all of the info in the player threads.

You're right, most Americans aren't people who work a normal work week, and can't be bothered with your opinion of Three Six Mafia, while trying to find out news on Carl Lawson on a Tuesday.

Edit: You're obviously still in college, or working third shift.

Freak is right, people are gonna keep doing it either because they are ignorant, don't care, or are trolls. Just gotta let the mods do their jobs. Not much point in complaining.

suspending folks is a good way to get their attention

Have you sent them a personal message reminding them of the rules?

There's so many there's no way to remember them all......

It doesn't hurt to try to get the word out. Otherwise, using the "report post" button will help bring those offending posts to our attention as soon as they happen.

We certainly aren't trying to squash discussion, but it's nice to have a running thread with just updates.

It's evident which threads are for conversation and which threads are for news. No reasonable poster believes this site is trying to limit legitimate discussion in any way.

Wtf r u talking about the thread is specifically made for rexruiting updates. Mods and others have asked people to stop posting many times. if u want to make a thread full of people posting nonsense ur welcome to thay post wad dumb as ****
