Just listened to them for a brief time in the car and between the talking heads and nationals Xperts calling in....they are about to cut wrists. If you listened to them the Program is dead and buried?? :dance2:

Our program is royally ****ed at this point. We are looking at a long, long time of rebuilding and coaching changes. This is unprecedented. We have complete chaos at the highest level of our athletic program. This will trickle down and cause even more chaos.

Its going to be really, really tough to be a UT Vol football fan for the next 5-7 years.

They're part of the Haslam clan I hope they shut that place down

have to be. had feldman on and he's going on and on about how toxic and bad things are, and all you get in response is "uh huh, yeah". they offer no context, no retort. just agreement.

pathetic.

A bunch of yes men. Pathetic. Hyams has no spine. Just reference the softballs he lobbed up in the Butch Jones press conferences

They have been following this nonsense closely on a daily basis for years. If they didn't see this train about to derail, they have been comatose or in denial.

I would need more than EMT's sent to me.

There is a debate as to a current talent problem or not on the roster. Then, this recruiting class is toast. All 1st year classes are usually poor, but this should be really bad, particularly with the early signing period.

Is Fulmer going to be interim AD or full time AD?

A new coach doesn't know who his boss will be. The fans don't want him. People in the AD get along like oil and water.

All this means you will have to overpay (significantly) for a guy to take the job. So, odds are we'll be doing this again in 4 years.

I'd be doing a Redd Foxx.....I'm coming Elizabeth

i think at this point, we just need to see what the new regime has cooking before we dig the hole, and prep the grave stone.

it may turn out ok after all............:whistling:

They think Thunder and Anderson are going to swoop in and make changes

They are the ones that wanted to keep Fulmer, no matter how bad his record was

This is going to be painful

As I believe you have said earlier.....long term this is good. If this sacrifice is made to get the house in order, it's a war worth having.

But, the short term.....not fun. Or shall I say, probably not fun

If you want good sports talk radio listen to FOX Sports Radio Knoxville WKGN-AM 1340 or on the app. Not homers and not controlled by the establishment.

If the 4pm presser goes right......lets look at this as a good enema. A Cleansing. And don't always feel better after that.
This could be the best thing for the program in the long run.
Currently it is about talking heads getting there shots it.
It could turn out very good. :)

no, short term is a bunch of suck.

but once sunday happened, nothing was going to prevent that. i know we have a lot of fans still posting all these names, that have zero chance of ever getting here this go around.....but that's the reality.

once sunday happened, the ship sailed on getting a top notch coach, that many of us thought we had a shot at getting.

only to find out, we never even tried, and Schiano was the ace up the sleeve.

but..i'm not naive, i fully believe what's happened, needed to happen. but there's still a lot of moving parts, and the real work is just getting started.

i would imagine that the folks that pulled this off didn't do so without some sort of plan that they were willing to execute.

could that plan suck as bad as the last one? hell yes. lol.

but i think when all is said and done, this might work out better than anyone thinks, even in the short term.

this puts guys like Tee Martin, Kevin Steele, Les Miles etc...back in play. and while none of those guys were on anyone's a list before this started, any of those guys could provide a path out.

or it could be a case of "be careful what you wish for".....:)

we'll see. but yes, i think this needed to happen, and ultimately will be a good thing.
