I am opening this thread up since we had a few instances of people having problems with page loads tonight. PLEASE, PLEASE post here if you experience any issues. The more you and others post when you have issues, the more likely I can find the culprit. I can use the data to get with the server provider or the ad server to solve the issues. The weird part is that, from what I can tell, it only seems to be a handful of people that it happens to from time to time.

Slow page loads, and not being able to load the site at all. Was like the server was down. Wouldn't even try to load. Just went to the 404 page.

I don't know if this relates to the issue,but I couldn't get back on the website.I tried constantly to get back on,but nothing.I finally gave up until right now and it let me back.It kept sayin website can't be found.I went to other websites and no problem,it was just volnation that wouldn't let me in.I tried my regular browser as well as firefox and rebooted numerous times.I don't know if it was on my end or here.I see no thread was made about this,so I'm assuming it was on my end.

Guys VolNation was down for just a bit tonight. I installed some software on the server that crashed the webserver tonight and it was offline for at least 30 minutes sometime around 11:00 this evening. That issue has been resolved.

I am looking to compile data for any users experiencing slow page loads where it takes more than a couple seconds to load a page. It happens every once in a while due to normal internet traffic but it shouldn't be happening any more than that. The only way I can find the issue is if people post here whenever they have issues.

Earlier today I wasn't able get into the NASCAR FORUM not that I have a shot.It took hrs just to get a late not to e taken post....

You were able to get to other forums but not the NASCAR forum? What time was this?

Same thing happened to me last night, perhaps about 9:00p.m. central. Completely unable to load pages on this site for at least 20 min.

Yep dsbyrd, everyone had that issue. The server was actually down completely for a little bit last night after a software conflict. That issue has been resolved.

Thanks for the feedback though.

I am mostly interested in the slow page load issue at this point.

Yeah, figured that out after I posted, sorry. FWIW I never have slow page loads.

:) Glad to hear that about the page loads. That's the funny thing, it only seems to affect some people. If I could only find the common link.

cspindizzy, that's really odd. I have heard one or two others say they have that issue. What do you see on your screen, just the original screen you are posting? Does the status bar just say loading? Are you using internet explorer (if so what version) or firefox or something else?

Firefox runs this site like a champion. i would suggest those having trouble with slow page loads look into making firefox their primary browser. i have had no trouble since i switched.

I'm a die hard FF user, but I had issues last week and over the weekend.

Nothing to report yesterday or today though. :)

Dunno if this helps or not, but pages seem to take forever to load in Safari, but everything's fine in Firefox.

(Both running under OS X.)

When I had that problem a week or so ago when it was, it was just a blank orange screen, it would eventually load the reply box, but it would be slow. I see it every once in awhile now, but nothing to complain about like before. I use the latest version of internet explorer.

I am having troubles loading during the day here...so like 7 or 8 est. The banners come up just fine, but the content takes about 30 seconds or so. Might just be the distance, nothing I can't handle tho

Still can't find any common link between anyone. I've not had issues last night or today.

RockytopEmpire it's interesting to me that the banners come up fine for you but the content is slow. Hmm.
