I listen to him fairly regularly and haven't heard this. He raves a lot about how great the staff is abd how different it is from the last one. I dont deny he knows more "football" X and O's than me, but that hasnt nothing to do with what he says on his radio show.

Matthews has been told to be more positive as has Hyams and even national guys like Bill King. Having listened to these guys throughout Butches Tenure and. If the start of Jeremy, it’s night and day different, the tones from these guys. That’s how it should be. Need more positivity.

It’s not that they haven’t said they don’t suck. Just that Jeremy is a good coach and excellent recruiter that will get it done.

He won't throw anyone under the bus. Just point out the obvious. No Oline. Probably will beat around the bush and in so many ways say we need better QB play also. That's about all you'll hear.. Other than they have to protect the football which is the captain obvious fact of the day.

There were too many times we didn’t know who to block. We didn’t get physically whipped but missed assignments.

Criticizing having Shamburger DB returning kicks when we have so many good RBs who handle the bill all the time and are used to it. Said Dale Carter was a rare exception.
Criticizing blocking, some offensive play calling, said a HC getting an USC penalty is really hard to do. Liked Pope 4th down play call. Hammmers lack of protection the football.

Thinks Jordan shouldn’t have been the one running out of the end zone because he tends to try to bounce the ball outside.

There was no misdirection in our offense at all.
