Please help a new person in state!

some already have but I was hopping some of you guys could answer and get others from the forum to answer some of my questions about living in TN....Fishing? where do I go and do military need a lic to fish or do we get a free pass like we do in florida? Where can I go to be treated fairly buying a new car, I do not want to get ripped off just because I am military and have a check promised to be every two weeks? Sports bars that play college football ( can be any game playing )? Best places to go grab a bite to eat?.....I ask all these questions because I come from a very small town of about 700 people.

What are you fishing for? You can get some good catfishing done at the old locks on the Cumberland or at the Cumberland steam plant. For bass and crappie fishing I would head out to Lake Barkley or Kentucky Lake.

There's plenty of good places to eat in Clarksville. I'm not really sure what's good over by the base, I'm from the St. Bethlehem area. I'd try out the blackhorse pub and brewery downtown, they've got great pizza and their own microbrews.

I think for a city the size of Clarksville it is severely lacking in restaurant quality. There isn't much outside of the chains and I always found the Blackhorse to be a bit overrated.

I wouldn't buy a car in Clarksville either, I would go up to Kentucky and get it. You will save a lot on the sales tax.

Nope, you pay Tennessee sales tax on cars bought out of state when it's titled.
