Definitely Ohio St. If they played Mich St again they would run them off the field. I personally wanna see OU and Ohio St in there with Ala. Both of them could play Ala well and could beat them. But no way Clemson,Iowa,Mich St,NC nor ND could play with Ala. I have no desire to see the Bams win another NC. Would rather see Urbs or Stoops win it than Saban and that's hard for me to say. I'm not an Urban or Stoops fan at all.
You dont really watch football do you?
Michigan State beat O$U with a second string quarterback. O$U had to move the ball a total of 38 yards for their two scores.
If Conner Cook were healthy for that game, it would have been a boat race.
MSU has beaten 3 teams that were ranked in the top 10 at the time they played:
Oregon
um
O$U
If they beat Iowa on Saturday, that will be 2 top FIVE teams in a span of 3 weeks.
They will deserve the #1 spot over Clemson but still wont get it, because too many people live in the past and not on what is going on in todays game.
MSU played most of their schedule with major injury issues. They made it through the injuries without a loss (Im not ever going to count that nebraska game, everyone knows that receiver was not eligible) and even if you count that, they still make it through and beat 3 top 10s with all of those injuries:
Starting LB - done in preseason
Starting DB - Done after a couple games
Starting DB - 3 weeks out due to concussion
2 Starting Ol - multiple weeks due to injuries
Starting RB - out multiple weeks
They started 3 true freshman DBs at nebraska, and still should have won that game if not for a reversible official blunder that never got reversed.
Championship teams play over that stuff, and we have. But dont worry, yall just go ahead and ignore us some more. Coach Dantonio loves another chip on his shoulder.
