In high school we had workouts at 6am 4 times a week during the summer. Some of us were bitching and moaning about it, so the coach takes us to the nursing home, and we saw all the elder people that couldn't get around and didn't have anyone. It sent us a great message. After that we started volunteering at the nursing home and came closer as a team.

Let me preface by saying that I'm aware that this is hearsay.

But if a player doesn't want to work then talk to them and let them know what might happen if they quit. If they decide they still don't want to work then give them the pink slip.

If they don't want to do what it takes to win, then they can go lose at another program. The losing attitude is no longer acceptable here.

The first time I saw this was at apromise keepers event in Atlanta. We were in the arena where the Hawks play and I watched about 10,000 men of all kinds cry like babies. I cry everytime I watch it. That guy is a perfect role model for every father in the world.

Ehh, 6 is a little early during the summer. We did 7:30 in the morning. Either way, it still sucked balls.

Now this was a long time ago and not sure they still do this but hard work is good for you and everything worth having is worth working hard to achieve.

It would be nice to see our team operate with the dedication and disiplane of the United Staes Marines. We played a team close to that a few years ago and got wipped on the feild we won on the score board but on the feild it was another story. I can not wait to see this kind of disipline installed into our players. What a great time to be a UT VOL!

In a nutshell, Democracy is mob rules where as a Republic is representative rule. (i.e., a person is accused of a horrible crime. The majority (mob) wants to take him out and lynch him; representatives circumvent the wishes of the majority and give him a trial).

We had a choice to go at 530 AM or 5 PM and since mostly everyone on our team worked we almost always were at the 530 AM ones. I also had position drills and film throughout the summer at 4PM which was a pain to get off of work for.

We are. We are a representative democracy or a federal republic; it just depends which term a given person would rather use.

"Democracy is a form of government in which power is held directly or indirectly by citizens under a free electoral system."

We do not fail to meet the definition of a democracy, and this is why the spreading of American influence across places like Europe has been referred to as "democratization." We are indeed a type of republic, and we are also a type of democracy. Neither of those is wrong.

And since we are both, many have called us a democratic republic. That has nothing to do with Marxism. Many Communist states used that term to act as if there was some semblance of freedom, which there often wasn't. But that does not mean that the term "democratic republic" is reserved exclusively for Marxist states.

For optimum results, replace a players' coach with an iron ass. Then when the time comes, replace the iron ass with a players' coach.

Having two of the same type in a row rarely pays dividends.

Your using the nlf system of coaching changes They do this because you keep the core of your players for years. In college the turn over is so quick you don't have to worry about your message getting old since you have such a turn over with players.
