since he deservedly is taking the brunt of the criticism.

Crompton finally throws a good pass for a first down and Moore drops it when we have a chance to punch it in on a good drive which makes it 19-17 and a FG wins it.

Jones ran the wrong route more than once and he should have never seen the field until next week.

Sullins and Vlad were getting owned. #92 didn't give Crompton any time to throw in the 2nd half.

Coaches blew the game at the end.

Fourth and 2. And the whole stadium knows the ball is going up the middle. You know it should have been a play action bootleg should have been the call.

It pretty much was Crompton and the coach that refuses to bench him. His name used to be Phil, but he went on a diet and now goes by Lane.

I'm glad it wasn't just me. run a sweep to the weak side or something. Their d-line was clogging the middle.

Cromptons problem was and still is he is unable to check down when a receiver is covered. No matter what route jones ran on 4th down a ball at his feet was not the answer. How about a pump fake , freeze the safety, and throw over the top. As for the coach's decision at the end Would you trust crompton to throw it.

Jones blew the route twice bigtime....I agree that he shouldn't have seen the field.IMO
I wish i'd seen more of Brown and Hardesty. I thought our defense done pretty good EXCEPT I'm tired of seeing our defensive backs diving at runner like a torpedo and missing, just make the F'n tackle. They all try to make the huge hit like Berry, but he's misses them to sometimes. But when he is the only one there, he makes the tackle.

Also, if their were any team these coaches should have beat, it was this one. That's what hurts me the most.

I still blame Crompton. OL is right up there as well.

What I am thinking too!

The first FG should have been a TD two player where wide open and JC nearly throws a INT.

INT over Jones head across the middel would have been a TD or a FG if completed.

all the points off of his INTs

Crompton is to blame!

But I have to say I was glad to see him being a MAN for once and gatherin the team around him after one INT. You could read his lips and see he said I F__ked up but I need you guys to help me .........

That is the first sign I have seen out of him that gives some glimmer of hope he may get through this crap. But i'm tired of waiting, Start 17 agains the gators and lets move on!

Crompton would trow to covered recievers not open ones. He would look down his recievers letting the other team know, he sux

I don't know about that. Both our starting DL, including AA Price (#92) was out on that 4th down play, and one thing we have on defense that we lacked in the past is speed so sweep might not be the best call. I thought while being predictable, it was the best call to get the short yardage needed. It's a straight line and you guys had success with it on that drive.

If you ran a sweep you probably suffered a loss (IMO) and then the criticism will be why call a sweep when we (Tenn) has been moving the ball up the middle.

All three players you mention are playing hurt. Vlad didn't practice all week. Sullins shoulder (the center) was so bad he had to get shot up just to play. Moore isn't at 100%.

And please demonstrate how you know that Jones (also hurt) ran wrong routes?

Uh, how about the entire offensive line?

I didn't realize we fielded one today. Certainly didn't see much of them...Saw five guys getting beat every play, didn't really see anything resembling a line.

I've never seen a receiver more open in the end zone for an easy TD than Stocker was that first drive; I saw him come open and thought wow, look at that, easy six right here - and then JC threw it to the receiver with three defenders on him.

I defended JC on here last week. I stand corrected.

or even a pitch to the outside.

i know everyone on here will probably fry me, but on that 2nd & goal BB had absolutley no business carrying the ball up the gut. if anything it shouldve been Hardesty but even he was struggling at times against their D-front. this time it was on the 4 and all 100,000 people there knew it was going up the middle...
