Players targeted by Thigpen & Martinez

I was looking earlier at recruits that had cincinnati and Auburn offers, and were recruited by either Thigpen or Martinez and the list is actualy pretty impressive. It starts with Carl Lawson, who Thigpen was primarily responsible for his contact with Auburn. There is a 3 star linebacker in West Tennessee named Walker Jones that is currently committed to Alabama...And the one that stands out most is a 4 star running back named MArk Dodson in Tennessee that both Thigpen and Mark Elder recruited hard and Dooley never offerred...

Walker Jones is a Bama legacy that was a lock as long as he got a committable offer from Bama which he did. It would surprise me if we were able to make much headway with Dodson, he seems really solid to Ole Miss and fits perfectly into Freeze's offense.

Toney, LB Arshad Jackson and QB/ATH Jason Smith are the ones I recall as well as de-commit LB Trey Johnson.
He was lead recruiter for LB Kris Frost, 5 Star from NC, a couple of years ago.

Jones is part of a family cult in bummer so he is not going anywhere but tuscaloser. Dodson is OM bound. Not sure he can get in UT. Apparently he slipped under Dooleys radar, as most of the instate talent seemed to have...
