Players Off The Field

Gerald Jones is trouble. So was Lennon Creer. I also put money down Ahmad Paige gets caught with drugs before he leaves.

I disagree about Gerald Jones. He's one of the nicest football players I've met. He will talk to anyone about anything. I had about a 15 minute conversation with him today after our class about how practice was going and about the new coaches and all. He's a really genuine guy. Sure he does some questionable things but he knows the limits and understands and appreciates the structure and discipline brought by Kiffin and Co.

The guys I went to high school with, Tyler Maples and Aaron Douglas are cool guys.

I have class with Daryl Vereen and he talks to me before class starts. It seems like he has a tough time staying awake though, must be the tough practices.

Last semester, I had a class with Alicia Manning, one of the freshmen Lady Vol guards I believe, and she always paid attention and asked questions in class. She seems to be a good student.

the whole 04 team used to party their ass off at the commons by 11th, some girl named Mia, at her apt. i used to live next to Karlon Neal and Cleat Chaser #1 B-Marsh, the guy smoked alot of weed and she always had athletes over.

My roomates and i were the first people on the scene when Rick Clausen fell over that ledge to the ground level grass at Jefferson Grand, haha

hahaha she was around in 04? damn how old is that dumb b**ch? I still see her out at the bars, giblet if i've ever seen one

Ive only had a couple of social ocassions with SEC greats...Got completely hammered and hooked up with some hotties with Kenny "Sky" Walker in Lexington. We continued to hang out for many years. Kenny treated me like an old friend he had known forever. Then I sat next to Harry Galbreath on a flight from Detroit and talked him into growling at and demanding a raise for me at my boss seated behind us (while he was a Packer).

I had a close friend walk on the football team and I met a lot of football players while in school. Most all of them were really nice guys. (Jabari Greer, Jason Respert, OJ Owens, Derrick Tinsley, Eric Westmorland) I live in Atlanta now and still keep up with Tinsley. He's a super nice guy. While in school I saw Cedric Houston come out of the IGA in the Fort with a few cases beer the Thursday before the UGA game. (2003) Needless to say I wisely put my $ on UGA. I'll also never forget seeing Tony Harris smoking a cigarette in a bar two days before the SEC tourney my freshman year. (2000-2001) That was unbelievable!

Toby Champion hitchhiked a ride from me one night and I took him from the Wendy's on the strip to the Krystal on the strip . (This is a true story, btw)

In the fall of '94, a young Peyton was given a "Big Gulp" at The Tap Room and sat there holding it, not knowing what to do with it. I finally told him I would drink it for him.

My neighbors were Jason Parker and Raymond Austin, and they were "cool" as long as you didn't talk about Danny Wuerfel.

Deron Jenkins and I had a bowling class. He was cocky.

Jamal Lewis was very cool and a beast.

Shane Burton liked to play pool , but I was kind of scared to beat him.

The three COOLEST players BY FAR that I've ever met were Derrick Edmonds, Fred White and Al Wilson......and this is BY FAR (due to their friendliness and being themselves)
