When players come to Dooley and ask if they can make changes to the uniforms like some other schools do - "Go win something and then we'll talk. You haven't won anything yet."

what are the players wanting...black jerseys...other than that our uniforms and helmets are classics and dont need to be changed....i could see a throwback helmet/uniform or a alternate helmet but thats about it

The uniform discussion on the nation has beaten beaten, spanked, kicked and abused... So ill just say this. Nike/UnderArmor > adidas. Adidas is boring. From the uniforms to their apparel. Everyone seems to think Nike and Under Armor will totally change everything. NOT TRUE. They can design classic uniforms as well as Unis that look more modern. And if you don't think it'll help recruiting you are naïve. Why do you think players color coordinate their sweatbands, gloves, mouthpieces etc. They wanna look good out there. Now go ahead and lecture me about tradition and how Adidas is better blah blah blah.

So Dooley should just be a jellyfish that says "Sorry guys, my W/L record isn't good enough to make any decisions so if you want some new uniforms just talk to the Adidas rep on the 2nd floor. I'm sure they'll be real nice. Oh, if you wanna practice today that'd be super cool!"

He's the coach. He's the leader. Hell, he's the adult. He did exactly what he should have done in this situation.

So Muschamp and Mullen (a whopping 14-11) can't make that play either?

And letting 50+ year olds make decisions is that much better right? G.T.F.O.
Lmao. Can't wait to see Tyler Bray rockin the long brown socks with the black dress shoe cleats. Classic.

Actually, Under Armour's stuff is terrible quality AND usually horribly ugly.

If you think South Carolina and Maryland's uniforms look good you've got some serious issues.

Nike would put Tennessee in the terrible Pro Combat uniforms, which is bad enough.
