Only positive vibes. These are stock updates from preseason descriptions/expectations of these players

1. Will Brooks-coaches said great things. I didn't want him to start. He's made some of the biggest plays for us and is second on the team in tackles and tied for the lead in ints
Stock up

2. Joshua Josephs-plenty of Tennessee analysts mentioned that his work ethic improved after he saw how good JP was doing. 3rd in tackles
Stock up

3. Boo Carter-true freshman. The word people used to describe him was electric. Since he has played a more prominent role, He has proven himself to be one of the best players on this loaded defense.
Stock up

4. Dylan Sampson-we heard he was ready for this to be his team. What did he do? He broke the season touchdown record and yards record for Tennessee.
Stock up

5. Nico-we heard that he could make 'all the throws'. Since he has gotten into a rhythm, he has shown an arm and athleticism that is possessed by few.
Stock up

6. Kitselman-was told He was not just a warm body. Turns out, he was our best tight end blocking and receiving.
Stock up

7. McCoy-was told he would be a good starter. Holy 💩!!!
Stock surging

I'm sure there are more but these are the ones that I remember the most

He runs hard but doesn’t have the burst IMO to be an SEC back. I didn’t think he looked good against Vandy.
Keep in mind he was coming back from an injury. He was getting great yardage against loaded fronts. When you’re getting 4 to 5 yards when everyone in the stadium knows you’re running that’s pretty good

Max Gilbert 🔥

The young man has been on fire since the Kentucky game. Money! On pace to become one of Tennessee's best kickers. Just a freshman!
Look how many teams got beat yesterday by field goals being missed. Ohio St missed 2 I think that would have won the game for them

Other than the false starts, Lance Heard played much better yesterday. Will be interesting to see if the PFF scores back up the eye test....

Arion Carter- is becoming what he was hyped to be: A cerebral, athletic, tackling machine that has commanding personality
Stock up⬆️

Donte Thornton- is the main reason Dylan Sampson is finding so much room in the box. Thornton is a legit game breaker that is primed for the playoffs.
Stock ⬆️

Omar Norman Lott- haha. Hilarious but absolutely unblockable and he’s leading the SEC in Sacks for a DT
Stock ⬆️✨

Lance Heard- he’s been protecting that blind side well for weeks now. A few false starts but the kid is making himself some money.
Stock ⬆️

I am noticing that when Tennessee gets the TE's, Kitselman specifically involved, Nico seems way more comfortable passing.
Oh absolutely!
I think that’s their bread and butter now

2 TEs in the backfield with the WRs on the line of scrimmage with Sampson in behind the QB

He's a quality depth back for sure. But we need to be portal shopping at RB.

Jp jr stock down if you go by the preseason hype. Still played very well all season
JP draws a lot of attention that allows other players to make plays. That doesn't show in stats but the people that coach sure know the value of it. I would hesitate to say his stock is down.

His stock is definitely up.
He’s showing up more in the run game this season.
Had an average game yesterday, but he’s been a force all season.
