I see more players wearing the bobblehead-looking helmet covers over their helmets . . . all LSU players except the QB's were wearing these during the practice pictured below, and I've seen some worn in games. If teams think there's even a possibility these MIGHT enhance player safety, why is it not mandated that all players wear these during practices and games? I would guess it's because football helmets look cool, and this would diminish the coolness.
