Dub step was a lot better when it was underground. I used to listen to it in 06-07. UK dub step was where it was it. Benga and all those guys did a good job producing. Even American djs like bass nectar and the glitch mob produced some good stuff. Now it has become really shi**y. Its so mainstream now and the quality has gotten worse. Now its just a bunch of wobble. Not to mention you hear dub step everywhere from Beiber to Gaga to Jay Z and now its also in movies and commercials.Dubstep is today what Britney Spears and pop music was in the 90s. Just really shi**y music.

Hey I am all for rowdy fans. I want it to be hostile for visitors. But the way it's always been. If we have to result to that bizarre music then we are now a school with gimmicks like Florida and other Johnny come latelys. I like how we have always done it. Heck I am cool with playing clean songs and videos made by fans or athletes such as Swiperboys were. At least his were about the Vols.

I want this too. NOTHING can replace the goosebumps you get when the pride starts playing Rocky Top. I'm just trying to find other ways to excite the players. Maybe there isn't or shouldn't be another way. Like someone else mentioned in a previous post, if your close or winning going into the 4th quarter, that will fire everyone up.

While we're at it, let's forget Rocky Top and running through the T and just introduce the players like this...

I always thought that was a Pink Floyd song that they used for the intro. I was wrong. Sounds just like them though.

Yeah remember whole team jumping around Crompton led by Kiffin against throttling Georgia. That sure got the fans fired up to help the team.

I'll admit that I was not a fan of dub step and Skrillex, at first. I listen to a lot of house music, though, and it has certainly grown on me. "Bangarang" came on BPM during my run tonight and I was pounding the pavement when the bass dropped. One thing for sure: it isn't overdone like "Sandstorm," "Enter Sandman," "Jump Around," etc.

I consider dubstep to be "noise" that is only fully appreciated by those who are stoned out of their mind.

I think the best thing would be to just start winning some games. It was obvious at the Georgia game I went to last year that the crowd got deflated pretty damn quickly. If the team becomes consistent at winning, our crowd will do the same with making some noise.

This idea is completely and utterly preposterous. The nerve of this younger generation to interrupt our social party as well as tea and crumpits .Its bad enough they insist on playing a football game during this social gathering. Its entirely too loud at the stadium now.I mean whats next? You will insist that i actually wear the correct color of orange instead of the orange ralph lauren sweater i wear tied around my neck. I swear if you insist on making all that racket the Athletic Department will stop getting get my sizable donation next year and buffy and i will spend our Saturdays at the country club.

Guranteed that'd get the student section fired up. Maybe not everyone else, but definitely the student section.
