What do we have to lose? Put Ben Martin in on defense. We've gotta try something there. Find someone else to take Parrish's spot. That guy is awful. There were 2 or 3 tds that were primarily his fault. I also wouldn't mind seeing Creer and Hardesty get more carries. They are dynamic and exciting which brings me to my next point. Use Gerald Jones and Kenny O'Neal in Percy Harvin type packages. They are both burners and probably have better hands than harvin who is nothing but a runner. Also use more post and hook patters. Throw the ball up the field. We don't have the blocking talent to throw screens and little dinky passes all the time, we also don't have the playmaking ability with Taylor, Briscoe and Rogers. Utilize what we actually do well, not what we wish to do well.

That's my rant.

my point is that if I'm Fulmer. I know my system isn't working. I know that my job security will not be very good if I stay in it. I don't care if a walk-on freshman can block better than your 5 star offensive lineman, you play the best man regardless of experience or potential. Your time to produce results has to be now.

Take out hardesty from your "playmakers" list and put in Brent Vinson. Then I agree with what you said totally.

Ughh that sucks. All I know is we need to adjust to the new college game. Florida is a prime template for what football is going to be like. team speed, athleticism and a great air assault. Unfortunately our coach is still bringing his bow and arrow to a tank battle.

The problem: For the last 15 years Phil has had one way of doing things....he's seen need for real change (05 season) and didn't do anything (besides use Sanders as a scapegoat)...he's not going to change now.

Old dog, new trick, doesn't mix.

in all honesty if Fulmer adopted a new system similar to Florida's, I don't have a problem with his coaching system. Its only his outdated, stubborn playcalling and game plans that are hampering our team

I dont understand why we cant get O'Neal,Vinson, Jones, Creer in there......I mean taylor, rodgers, and briscoe are doin ok but you can keep one or two of the older guys in then mix in a younger guy or 2 on every play you know what wud that hurt....

I think we should play Mckenzie and rogan at safety and Berry and willingham at corner. Our secondary cant get any worse.Would like to see the young speedy receivers in when the game still matters. And Creer needs to get the ball more. That guy is going to be a beast!

Its simple. Meyer tweaks his offense to get young players in, Fulmer wants his players to learn the WHOLE offense before he puts them in.

They need to put Creer and Coker on the field together alot. They are both great out of the backfield.and can line either one out wide.

I think they need to start working Berry into the mix really soon. Just give him a handfull of routes at wr,qb or as a decoy for a few plays a game. You know, just let him start getting the feel of some offense plays. I thinks he would make something happen back there.

I've read that it's very likely he'll be red-shirted because of his hammy. Doesn't sound like they expect it to get better anytime soon.

Maybe true but I surely don't know. I just read what Millwood said and don't think it's been decided yet. Definitely don't want him to go out there less than 100%
