Now I'm not usually one of those conspiracy theorists, but did anyone else find it strange that the play clock was "broken" on what I consider one of our most important drives of the game? Then the exact moment Bama got the ball back, it immediately started working again?

Coincidence?

either way, we lose

Probably, but how do you know? Maybe if the play clock worked, our offense wouldn't have been in such a hurry. Maybe if our offense wasn't in such a hurry, Ainge wouldn't have thrown the INT. Maybe if Ainge didn't throw the INT, we would have scored. Maybe if we scored, the momentum would have shifted. Eh, you get the point.

Erase this thread immediately!!!......Don't give Fulmer an excuse for the drubbing......let him invent his own.

Vols had ball, no play-clock, no delay of game penalties...

Bama has ball, play clock winding down, possibility of delay penalty...

How did this benefit UT again?

Wasn't thinking conspiracy, but it is kind of absurd.

It seems like these things are always breaking down in college football games. They aren't nuclear reactors, they are a clock. How difficult is it to keep one of these operational?

This same thing happened when we went to Gainesville... I think we play a bunch of dirty scumbags myself...

'scuse me - how did it benefit Bama is what I meant to ask

It didn't - stop trolling. The point was it just so happened to come back on when Bama gets the ball back. Oh, wasn't that convenient? It could have been something and you don't know if they made Ainge hurry too much or what not - especially running no huddle.

agreed, I have several clocks in my house and I keep them all working with little difficulty. Why can't a guy make a clock that only has to count 25 seconds work? I dunno

Cheers

man, I've been on two boards tonite for a while and I'm not trolling, but I've seen you make that same little barb aimed at several people.

I made a legitimate comment, don't be a tool by acting like I was being one, I was not.

Yeah, I thought that was a major reason that we lost.

Troll - We've seen several today that's the reason. If you've been on several boards TONIGHT that's obviously a strike against you.....

You didn't make a valid comment... it was stupid. It was common sense that the clock had no direct obvious effect.. and it was obvious this thread wasn't to be taken too seriously.

All that was said that is was very strange that it goes off when we get the ball in a key drive and comes right back on when you get the ball. Troll.
