Play calls

They are just faster than us. As much as I hate to say it, we are not at their level yet.

It wouldn't hurt to throw a deep ball though. I don't believe we have had a single play action yet. Of course, when your not gaining yards in the run game, I'm not sure it would work. However, you have to at least keep the defense guessing.

Can we please throw the ball farther than 2 yards beyond the line of scrimmage?!! This is terrible! We drew up better plays in the dirt as kids!

It could have something to do with the oline and Dobbs but maybe you are watching a different team play? Or maybe you thought ut was actually going to win? Dobbs is a terrible decision maker under pressure

It's all three; Dobbs, OLine, and DeBord. None of those three are without blame for the offensive woes.

Anyone else fed up with offensive play calls? Usually they seem to make adjustments for second half, doesnt seem that way today. Defense is on field way to much

I am. Common sense tells you when you need 10 yards, a freaking 2 yd pass play, that hasnt been working all day, isn't gonna cut it. End of 3rd and I have not seen them take a risk yet. Offensive line now looks like a 3 yr old trying to block a bull.

Our OC is a f'ing hack! Do something imaginary, anything, run, run, run, run, if Dobbs doesn't keep and run it why is he in there, cause he sure as hell can't pass.

I remember when I was 12 playing an ncaa game and Corso says you don't throw the ball under the sticks on third down.

When I was 12 I learned something Jones/Debord still can't figure out.

Difference in the game kiffin has made a true freshman qb look like a senior and deboard has made a senior qb look like a freshman. Just horrible play calling all game.

I would rather get beat 60-10 playing to win a game instead of getting beat 60-10 playing not to lose.

This is an absolute embarrassment

I have to agree that the play calling is very predictable. Maybe now that we are down by 32 we might throw on first down.

I really feel like Butch jones should lose a toe nail every time he calls a game like this.

Yes I'm drunk, but still this game was called terribly.

I thought after the play calling last week we has turned a page.

Watching this week, I'm a little worried. I know that the OL has been horrible, but we need to try.

When we play Alabama again hopefully this will.be corrected.

How many times does this thread need to be discussed. STFU you guys only show up after a loss. Maybe Bama has scholarship players too?

Debord is like me, old and tired, but I'm not getting paid a boatload of money to run an uninspired offense. In all seriousness we've got some kids playing offensive line who might not be able to start for Carson Newman this year, they'll get older and better. AND these bammers are damn good.

Our plays today consist of Hurd running into the backs of our Oline or a pass that's caught at the line of scrimmage. With Alabamas D you're not going to get any yards after a catch.

Dude I'm as big a sunshine pumper that you will find, but if you can't agree that this has been a horribly called game then I don't know what to tell you. Our only chance was to keep the defense off the field. Didn't happen.
