Play Calling

What did everyone think of the offensive play calling ex. the fumble on the trick play and benching Ainge when we had a chance to score.

I didn't have too much of a problem. We all would have thought they were perfect calls if they worked. I'm still not too sure what they were going to do on that under the leg thing though.

The second "G-Gun" package was a joke. Erik threw the ball well to get us there. You go for it on fourth and three because you don't want a field goal. Then why not make an effort to score. Unless Jones unloads one they are going to rush 11 at him. You are right business as usual and I am glad that after this year the business has shut its doors and moved out of town..

Hmmm... we've been lead to believe that a chest bumping, cheerleading buffoon such as Trooper couldn't be given the keys to the offense, yet some people call Cutcliffe an offensive guru? :ermm:

I'm sure Trooper would run a trick play near our redzone when we are on a drive moving the ball downfield.

And BTW, has there been a description of what exactly they were trying to accomplish with that play? It looked to me that even if the handoff would have been sucessdul, Creer would have been lucky to get 2 yards on it.
