In either case, there are going to be 50 aborted fetuses supplying the 50 livers. That is the constant.

Frankly, this whole buying/selling parts is a red herring for wanting to defund PP due to the arbitrary morality being imposed in large part by the religious right.

Planned parenthood is not suppose to be an abortion agency....Its suppose to offer counseling and guidance to women regarding contraceptives, family planning, and life choices......How can they be non-biased and have the woman's best interest in mind when they are making bank from killing and selling baby parts?

Define "making bank".

I understand where you're going with the conflict of interest angle and if there is evidence of PP steering women into having abortions, that'd be a death blow.

Simply selling what they're getting as a bi product of the service they provide is smart business if you ask me.

You just moved the goal posts. Selling (to cover costs) and making profit are two different things.

Frankly, it doesn't matter. PP isn't going anywhere anytime soon and they will continue to sell the fetal tissue for medical research, as they should.

Just a distraction that makes people emotional - Meanwhile, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

The goal posts didn't move.....we were replying back about a tweet that someone wanted 50 more livers and would provide financial incentives....what are you talking about when referring to the man behind the curtain?

Yet Richards admitted to the House Oversight Committee they don't even provide mammograms.

At a House Oversight & Government Reform hearing Tuesday, Richards explained to multiple Congress members that Planned Parenthood does not provide mammograms.

Early in the hearing, Republican Congresswoman Cynthia Lummis of Wisconsin asked Richards how many Planned Parenthood clinics have mammogram machines.

"There aren't any Planned Parenthood clinics, I believe, to the best of my knowledge, not any have mammogram machines at their facilities," responded Richards.

Enough members of the the Congressional GOP are willing to destroy the credit rating of the country and risk worldwide economic calamity over these videos that they have paralyzed their own party in trying to govern sensibly.

And the videos have been shown in many respects to be fraudulent.

No one is saying that these elected persons cannot champion their cause, and they can propose legislation as they see fit. But when they hold everything else hostage based on bogus materials, I think they have proven themselves to be illegitimate.

Barry already downgraded our S&P credit rating with his deficit spending and no budget being passed during his tenure, as far as the videos go if just one is an accurate portrayal of behind the scenes activities that alone is cause for concern.

I certainly don't think it's worth holding everything up but the highlighted statement fails to acknowledge that in more respects they have been found to be accurate.

The fact that PP is ending the practice tells you they got caught and are adjusting to avoid deeper investigation.
