Thanks for sharing this. That is absolutely insane...the overt evil described in that report is appalling. Dude murdered many, many babies from the 3rd trimester that were born live. This was the clinic whispered about behind closed doors for women who went to other abortion clinics and ultrasounds showed they were past the 20 week mark and therefore illegal to murder. He forced labor and childbirth on women and young girls who gave live birth...then murdered the babies using scissors in the neck to sever the spinal chord. Who could be that evil? Who could murder living, breathing babies all night every night? Saving the biggest babies for sunday nights when only he and his wife were in that nasty excuse for a clinic...some of those were surely full term or almost full term. Killed several women as well...sterilized others against their wills. There isnt a punishment bad enough for that man. Not here on Earth. Disgusting.

Also learned from reading that report: it is not illegal to impersonate a doctor in the state of Pennsylvania.?!?! Dude had 2 folks that flunked out of med school that he passed off as doctors that were performing procedures, giving strong drugs IV etc...and thats legal there?

First time I've heard about the Gosnell stuff.

The insane thing is we had a sitting state governor talk publicly about the US needing to allow the very same sick things that monster was doing in the name of "women's rights" or "reproductive rights".

The insane thing is we had a sitting state governor talk publicly about the US needing to allow the very same sick things that monster was doing in the name of "women's rights" or "reproductive rights".

It was an extremely under-reported story, for obvious reasons. For the most part, only conservative outlets talked about it.

I'm pro-life, and while I don't think Gosnell's clinic was a typical one it reflected so poorly on that industry that the mainstream media just didn't talk about it. Which really is a pretty poor reason for not reporting on it. A lot of news, is, by definition, things that don't happen often. I don't think the Enron scandal is a typical situation that goes on in corporate America, but that didn't mean it wasn't worth reporting on.

The right-wing equivalent of that story (perhaps something like a gun retailer systematically selling guns to known murderers over a period of years, who then go a kill a bunch of people) would have gotten wall-to-wall coverage because it would reflect poorly on an industry that they hate. This reflected poorly on something they support, so they didn't talk about it.
