Not really.
Planet Fitness just decided to back a group you individually don't support so therefore they're in the wrong.
They're a private enterprise. I support both companies that Deputy Fife mentioned because I support a private company's right to sell to who they want.
They could kill their business model in the process, but so be it.
Ignorant comparison.
Unsatisfied with this reply, Cournier took it upon herself to return to the gym the next week and for three days in a row go up to as many women gym members as she could find and said, [J]ust so you know, theres a man they allow in this locker room and they dont tell you that when you sign up. It was for this behavior, and not her original complaint, that Courniers membership was revoked.
U said "most"...... All it takes is one bad seed......rapists are Cub Scout leaders, sports team coaches, priests, leaders of the community....some pedophiles get jobs around kids just so they can be around the ones they lust after.... I don't think it's that big of a stretch for one to put a dress on to get what they want.....I work with gay people and have no issues with their choice but unlike Yorkvol tries to make it sound being gay or confused doesn't automatically make u a good person.....I don't want the women of my family sharing a locker room with a man. Chances are that it would be fine but all it takes is that one bad person.
I'm actually not at all and advocate of creating separate bathrooms. People should use the bathroom that correlates with their sex, meaning biological males use the men's room and biological females use the women's room. Anybody who is not okay with this arrangement, which absolutely includes non-transgendered people who don't want to share a bathroom with transgendered people, are 100% free to just avoid the locker room area.
With that said We both know that equating people who think we should build transgendered bathrooms to racists from the 60s is incredibly shortsighted and intellectually shallow.
One is a form of discrimination and the other is a form of accommodation. If you can't see how drastically different the two are, then you're just being incredibly dense.
My guess is you did know but there's no way you were going to pass up an opportunity to equate us all to racists. Or Maybe you are just ignorant enough to think that's a legitimate comparison. I don't know...

You're so right Piss on the dozens of women who feel uncomfortable sharing the locker room with him. If they don't like it they're just bigots and can go work out somewhere else, right?
Call me dense then, because the word "accommodation" was used a lot to justify discrimination in the past.
And, I didn't call anyone racists, merely pointed out a historical fact the last time there was separation without any good reason.
There were dozens? I thought it was just one woman.
And yes, the business should have the right to do business with whomever or whatever they choose, including but not limited to not serving them icky gay folk cakes for their glitter-fabulous weddings.
Let the people vote with their wallets...
Perhaps, but it is central to the argument at hand.
The facts aren't misrepresented as you claim. It's a worthy tangent of discussion.
When he first posted this, I assumed he was trying to point out fallacies of others. Now I see that it was just a declaration of all the ones that he was going to use in order to make a complete fool of himself.
