lol Great game! What a Heart Break!!
I think Daniel's Hamstring is still bothering him. can't wait for CLK to get his players in, I think he will turn UT into a MONSTER!

Yeah I would say his hamstring is still hurting him because he was short on the 47 yard one before half.

So when palardy gets here, what happens to Lincoln? just curious b/c I can't imagine having more than one scholarship kicker on the team.. would he be cut or just lose his scholy?

Lincoln will battle Palardy for the kicking spot. But all signs point to Palardy winning it. Lincoln will stay on scholarship, but won't kick at all unless there is an injury. He has subpar leg strength and accuracy issues (and also trajectory problems as the Bama game showed). Bad combo.

I'm mad like must fans are but Lincoln is not the only one on the field! Cody came unblocked.Don't throw Lincoln under the bus. I think we played a great game in a tough place.:rock:

I completely agree. The coverage was poor. But Lincoln needed some more height under those kicks. Cody didn't even have to jump.

Im so proud of JC, looked like he was in tears after the game, thats the emotion I want my QB to have after a heartbreaking loss. GO VOLS!

Guys seriously some perspective is needed. I am very excited about Palardy.

That said, Lincoln cannot kick high on a 40 plus yard kick, neither can NFL kickers. It has to do with the distance. What you find in the NFL is you have large strong linemen who do not allow defensive players to blow them up and jump straight in the air.

It is not the fault of the OL who played to the limits of their potential (I was so proud of the Sullins boys on the 4th down runs) but they were destroyed by an NFL talent who will be making millions while they are hopefully successful but certainly post football in their lives.
