That’s all Pruitt should have been viewed as from day 1. It wasn’t his fault, it wasn’t even Fulmers fault, it was the cards that were dealt as a consequence of a clown show of a coaching search. Fulmer needs to take emotion out of this and do the best thing for UT and not for the man he selected after 10 others said no. Ironically, Fulmers downfall will be his loyalty....but there are great candidates sitting there for the taking and a few with TN ties... classic UT move to strike out on all of them yet again

After next week, barring a miracle, he will be a dead man walking. The problem is we will end up hiring Google McGoogstein and he told he has been successful as a defensive analyst everywhere he's been.

It was most definitely Fulmers fault for giving this idiot an extension before the seasons started a buyout of $13 million!!

You hit the nail on the head. Whether people want to acknowledge this or not, this is truth. That coaching search and Currie going rogue set us back two coaching hires to get the right person. My only hope is that Pruitt does not leave the cupboard bare for the next coach.

Fulmer hiring Pruitt under those circumstances is one thing. But the raise and extension should get Fulmer fired.

Well reality is he’s not getting fired, but fulmer has the opportunity to make a bold play here (trying to stoke the big guys ego... no one else in America thinks firing Pruitt is bold btw)
