I'm coming up Saturday for the game and may not get in if tickets are ridiculous. We would like have a place to watch the game on campus besides Calhouns. Any suggestions?

Field house social in the Walmart shopping center (towards Kingston pike more). They have a huge projection screen and really comfy leather couches to chill on. And beer. It will be crowded I'm sure so get there early!

Make friendly with a nicely-appointed tailgate. Bringing quality refreshments is recommended.

Hey all- some buddies and I are visiting Knoxville from the west coast (all Washington alumns) this weekend and hopefully catch an epic SEC battle. We haven't bought tickets yet but are planning on buys no from a scalper on game day. None of us have been to UT before so can anyone recommend places to buy from scalpels on game Day?

Better yet, if a year me is looking to sell 4 tickets I'd be very interested. We just can't spend $500 per seat but I'm expecting to pay upwards of $300 for lousy seats and I can live with that. For what it's worth we'll all be rooting hard for UT (my dad was a Vol) and hoping for an upset. My last SEC game was 2 years ago in Oxford when Ole Miss upset #1 Bama so I plan on bringing that same Mojo with me

Thanks in advance

You can try the tickets forum of the website. Cumberland Ave should have several scalpers.
Go Vols. Beat Bama

Cumberland Ave strip usually has scalpers.

Depends on what time you're trying to buy the tickets. Closer to game time you can find lots of people selling tickets near the stadium - on Peyton Manning Pass and Andy Holt.

Does anybody watch games at the Half Barrel any more? Feels like I watched every away game there while living on campus.

This. I have at least ten people who are just staying at the tailgate and watching on TV. As much as they'd like to see the game, they're not going to pay $350-plus per ticket
