Place Kicking and Punting in D1 football

Same concept of yelling when performing martial arts. When you do it, it gives you an extra 10-30 percent power in what your doing.

Oh no doubt, I've gone from 15 yards per kick to 17-20 just from screaming. Now, you might laugh and say "That's not a lot!" but compare the percentage to a bigger number and you're talking large gains.

If you can hit from the hashmarks from inside of 35 yards consistently, you'll have a spot on any roster. Most problems for teams, even with good to great kickers, come from being jammed into a tight spot as a result of not having confidence in being able to get three points from the extreme angles.

Accuracy isn't really an issue, just distance. I went out and punted a few today, man my foot hurts. Didn't measure, mainly working on the direction spin and height of the football coming off the foot. My foot is definitely sore, and I need to work on flexibility in my ankle, but all in all, not a bad day.

Only issue, and this is a biggie, is I'm like that kicker in The Replacements. I'll be on the field with a cig in my mouth. Working on getting rid of that issue as we speak.
