PizzaGate

"DeCamp was also the lead perspective on Conspiracy of Silence, an unaired Discovery Channel documentary about the alleged "Franklin cover-up" that documents a U.S. child sex abuse and pedophilia ring whose involvement leads to the highest levels of government.[9][10] This was confirmed by The Washington Times, 'Mr. Spence arranged at least four midnight tours of the White House, including one June 29, 1989, on which he took with him a 15-year-old boy whom he falsely identified as his son.' [11] The boy Mr. Spence claimed to be his son, was later identified as foster child prostitute, Paul Bonacci. On February 27, 1999, the U.S. District Court of the District of Nebraska awarded Bonacci $1 million in compensatory damages and punitive damages, related to the Franklin Cover-Up."

This is your version of "completely debunked"? Lol. No wonder you consider what the NYT had done concerning pizzagate to be "debunked". Apparently you have a pretty low threshold for something to be considered completely false.

Nothing to see here

I see you stopped there. Here's what you find when you look into the "Franklin Cover-up."

The Franklin child prostitution ring allegations took place between 1988 and 1991 and involved an alleged child sex ring serving prominent citizens of Nebraska, as well as high-level U.S. politicians.[1] The allegations also claimed that the alleged sex ring was led by, "a cult of devil worshipers involved in the mutilation, sacrifice and cannibalism of numerous children."[1] The allegations centered on the actions of Lawrence E. King Jr., who ran the now defunct Franklin Community Federal Credit Union (FCFCU) in Omaha, Nebraska.[2]
The Nebraska State Foster Care Review Board submitted the results of a two-year investigation into the alleged physical and sexual abuse of foster children to the Executive Board of the Nebraska Legislature, who were investigating reports of child sexual abuse linked to the credit union. Authorities launched a probe, interviewing a number of claimed abuse victims who said that children in foster care were flown to the U.S. East Coast and were abused at "bad parties".[3] After investigation, a grand jury in Douglas County (of which Omaha, Nebraska is the largest city and county seat) determined the abuse allegations were baseless, describing them as a "carefully crafted hoax" and indicted two of the accusers on perjury charges.[4] The grand jury also suggested that the abuse stories originated from a vindictive employee terminated by Boys Town, the famed refuge for troubled youths.[4] Later, a federal grand jury concluded that the abuse allegations were unfounded and indicted 21-year-old Alisha Owen, an alleged victim, on eight counts of perjury. The same grand jury also indicted multiple officers of the credit union, including King, for crimes related to the embezzlement of funds from the credit union.[4][5] Alisha Owen served 4-1/2 years in prison.[6]
Historian Philip Jenkins explored how hot topics such as the Franklin allegations, whether or not they are worthy of attention or credible on their own merits, are seized by political opportunists for their own purposes. He also described how cases such as the Franklin allegations can acquire credibility, even if they lack any credibility inherently, when reported in various media in a credible voice.[1] Numerous conspiracy theories evolved and persist, claiming that the alleged abuse was part of a widespread series of crimes including devil worship, cannibalism, drug trafficking, CIA arms dealing and links with the first Bush Administration.[1]

Let me highlight for you the relevant portion:

Thank you both for proving my point. People like you, hell-bent on your false conspiracy theories and loving this one because it targets Clinton, just skim over what you read. Your reading comprehension skills are pathetic. Please stop posting without an educated adult first reviewing what garbage you want to spew here.

You may now slink of in your well-deserved shame.

Go back and look at the post you originally quoted. This does not debunk the post you quoted. More obscurantism by the willfully obtuse.

LG, you're a riot. I've seen you draw conclusions on much flimsier evidence. Multiple times I've seen you label someone a racist or a bigot with less evidence than has been provided here.

You always left it up to the target of the charge to prove otherwise.

Weak. Really weak.

Even for you.

Not weak at all. You are obscuring this issue on purpose just like all the mainstream media who have "reported" on this. If I were a real conspiracy theorist, I might be inclined to believe that your vigorous protest in defense of this issue is a little suspicious.

Bullsh!t.

You and another poster proudly hoisted up this DeCamp guy as an example of a Republican who has previously investigated child molestation rings by devil worshippers.

It was a hoax. People frickin' went to jail over it.

Personally, I hope there is some consequence for the fake news spewers on this one, too.

The fakest of outrage from you, good sir. Refreshing. I was beginning to think you had lost your touch.

Again, go back to the post you originally quoted. Without being an obscurantist, tell me how he was wrong. DeCamp didn't go to jail did he? In fact, he won his client $1 million for damages related to the coverup. It is difficult to say that the whole thing was completely debunked. Yes?

You say there is no story to lie about, yet the only utterances of this story by the msm has been uncharitable interpretations of the main points of the investigation, straw men, and lies. It has not been debunked. Nobody has claimed that Hillary sells children out of the kitchen of the restaurant as claimed by Alefantis in interviews. And the evidence which is compelling is ignored while the msm mocks the more absurdly flimsy evidence. I get it. You're a skeptic and you believe the msm is as well. But the msm is more than skeptical. They are critical without giving any reason and instead revert to ad homie attacks against the only people looking into it.

Believe the MSM? What I know of Pizzagate has come almost exclusively from this thread and your ilk. In other words, I'm reading your links, your evidence, and your arguments to which I remain skeptical. So that's a strawman you have built.

Secondly, when you are going to report allegations and rumors about something as serious as didling children or at least knowingly aiding those that do, you better have your ducks in a row. That's some serious ****. Which means that has the potential to be some serious defamation.

This ought to create an environment where journalists are naturally skeptical and very critical of the evidence.

I think you misread what I said. I said you believe that the msm is skeptical. Not that you believe in the msm. The point I'm trying to make is that the msm isn't merely skeptical, they are hostile.

And I haven't posted any evidence that I've found compelling. I've simply been keeping up with the crowd sourced investigation on Voat. There's a ton of bs to sift through, but there are a few key pieces that I find very interesting. The voat community has done a good job of debunking their own theories and faulty evidence. Go check it out for yourself. It isn't just an echo chamber of crazy people. There are many skeptics on that board who bring balance and keep the place from devolving into idiocy.

Right now it is a witch hunt. Doesn't mean it should stop but it should proceed cautiously; and people should do their own research. which in this case should be reading both sides, both the conspiracy theorists and the MSM who couldn't tell the truth for all the BS coming out of it.

Trump just fired Michael Flynn Jr., the son of his National Security advisor, from transition staff for tweeting support for this conspiracy theory. Interesting and surprising to say the least.

Maybe Trump really is tied to it.

Flynn Jr has been tweeting crazy crap, not as crazy as pizza gate, for a long time now. I suspect trump got tired of it. Jr is the kind of guy who tweets "news" stories about Obama calling martial law to stay in office. Sadly many on here believe crap like that when they read it.

You like hostility within the media is a bad thing. I want them to be hostile towards elected officials, the government, and power groups. That's when they are at their best (part of what makes them useless nowadays).

Hostility towards unproven speculation of serious allegations is not a bad thing. Being in bed with entities they are suppose to check is as bad as peddling unsubstantiated speculation. Neither has any business being in journalism.

Is that because you don't find any particular piece of evidence compelling? If you do find evidence compelling, surely you would post it, right?

Well, my gut was wrong.

Evidently Trump's pedophile case was dismissed in early November. It had been so little reported, and I admittedly hadn't been closely following it as of late, that it completely slipped us by. Well, it's dismissed and that is that, I suppose.

Regardless, I still think this story is fake, and I think it's still largely a distraction, designed by smart people to dupe stupid people into fulfilling the smart people's aims. And the thing about being stupid is that no stupid person has ever realized he or she is stupid. If they did, they wouldn't be stupid.

Parts of this story scare me, parts of it are comical.

You would be a fool to think the Clintons and Trump merely went to Jefferey Epsteins island multiple times for the views. And if they are willing to go there, they are willing to partake in other similar activities.

Eventually there will be a smoking gun tying our politician(s) to pedophilia. I just hope it's not as bad as it could possibly be with the PizzaGate findings.

No. I have found a few pieces that are compelling. There is no smoking gun, and I doubt there ever will be. I've mentioned in this very thread that if I was on a jury, I don't think any of this evidence would be enough for me to vote guilty against anyone. That being said, the evidence that I find compelling is enough to raise the scandal to the level of "plausible" or even "likely" for a few aspects of it. And I don't think it is up to me to convince people who don't want to research it themselves. Go and look at the evidence or don't. I don't really care because you aren't writing articles calling it made up bullsh!t without having ever read the first piece of evidence.

I don't think there will ever be a smoking gun. The collusion between the state and the media will not allow that to happen.
