Miss you Herb.

Happy Holidays and see you in 2016.

I think you should give notice when changing strategies which have been
long in place. I immediately realized something was different by the shape
of the box and I contemplated who would be sending me something in the
square shaped box. Lo and behold, instead of pasta and wonderful sauces, it
was a lovely, tempting assortment of cheeses, Yummy. I am awaiting the
return of my children and grandchildren from their holiday travels so that
we can demolish them.

Thank you so much. I hope you and your gang are well.

I miss you both

Best wishes fro a merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Herb

Ps. Do you think I’ll do better playing dominos on cheese than on pasta?

Seriousness of the charge alone? No. Seriousness of the charge in combination with a little bit of solid evidence, a ton of flimsy evidence, a ton of interesting coincidences, and a ton of pushback from mainstream media? That is a different story.

Only for people who have an agenda or get a kick out of playing Sherlock Holmes.

Moronic, do you know that no proof of life had been given for Assange since October?

Breaking up child porn rings is a worthy agenda, I'd say. Wouldn't you?

It is the most important thing, period. And it doesn't matter what side of the aisle they're on, if they are convicted of pedophilia, then it should be an automatic death penalty with no chance of pardon.

Also, this fake news BS is being pushed by the MSM because they're losing control of the narrative. If anyone believes this BS fake news from the MSM, you need to send me $50,000 as I can immediately double it and send you back $100,000k.

It's not really the "fault" of the MSM. It's that people are gullible and willing to believe nonsense because it explains complicated things in bite sized nuggets they don't have to think about.

edit- change my initial response because I misinterpreted your post I think.

The MSM began all of this with them pushing their agenda. I imagine the people pushing any fake news sites, got their ideas from seeing the manipulated biased news we see from the MSM.

Here is what I imagine when I read this email: normally the podesta's send herb and family a gift box of pastas and sauces. Not that uncommon.

I'd also assume they have used the box as a surface for a game of dominos (that herb lost).

This year, instead of the usual box of pasta, they sent a gift box of cheeses...which have a more immediate expiration. Hence the alert for change in strategy.

Herb is hoping for a better game if they play on the surface of the cheese gift box this time.

Yeah. That checks out. Case closed. Lol.

Sorry, I don't know all the code words. Help a brother out?

Cheese stands for a dairy based cultured/fermented product used in many culinary applications. Used when rich creamy taste and texture are desired.

Pasta is code for a carbohydrate rich unit consisting of some combination of egg and all purpose enriched flour. Used to add bulk to meals and make them more economically viable as a food source.

Precisely, my point. The seriousness of the charge. Let it sink in.

The agenda being what it is does not enhance or diminish the validity of the evidence. This evidence exists whether it was found by a 400 lb acne faced nerds in mom's basement or by the FBI.

You mean the validity of the evidence that is mostly "flimsy" by your own admission? Rush was correct that liberals tend to take the seriousness of the charge to be more important than the actual evidence (look at Duke Lacrosse and USA fraternity rape cases).

It is no different here, with pizzagate, except this time it is right-leaning people instead of liberals. The seriousness the charge trumps the actual evidence.

Indeed I said there is a ton of flimsy evidence. That is what happens when the news won't do its job. All we have gotten from the main stream news outlets is "Move along! Nothing to see here! Fake news in progress!" You get a crowd sourced investigation that has to go down a bunch of dead ends and do some debugging to weed out all the bullsh*t. There are a few key pieces that are very compelling, however. Add to those the number of odd coincidences and it begins to paint a picture of plausibility.

IMO, it is journalistic malpractice to not follow a plausible lead such as pizzagate has provided. Instead, "journalists" are frantically screeching that since this doesn't come from the New York Times or CNN that it is all made up fairytales. There is substance to this investigation. Mock it as you see fit, but that won't change any of the facts (which you likely haven't read).

It's actually one of the very few cases of decent journalism in a sea of true journalism malpractice.

Agree to disagree. I think it is one more obvious example of propaganda by omission. State sponsored news can't maintain state access if they burn their bridges.

BTW, you think it is good journalism to say that something is "debunked" when there has been absolutely no debunking? Calling the scandal "fake news" without so much as a passing mention to the context from which the scandal sprang from is not the same as debunking. That's such obvious and lazy propaganda that you should be ashamed for even considering that "journalism", let along "decent" journalism.

You have already made up your mind that something really heinous is there (which there might be). Now, look at it as if nothing heinous actually happened. It's difference between good investigative journalism and the Rolling Stone debacle.

Innocent until proven guilty. Facts before slander/libel/defamation.

I agree that a good journalist should start from a neutral perspective and look at the evidence to reach a conclusion. And the conclusion should be one of the following:

1) Evidence is compelling, I believe there may be something here

2) Evidence is not compelling. Can't conclude that there is anything heinous happening.

3) Evidence is incorrect, thus debunking the entire story.

Instead, We have gotten mostly the following from the MSM:

"This story is fake. Trust us because we're the real news. Don't even attempt to research this topic because that is for tin foil hat psychopaths."

Pardon me for thinking that isn't good journalism.

If evidence is tied to interpretation, then 2 and 3 become one in the same. If evidence is considered merely brute facts, it is only factual/not factual; nothing to do with compelling.

Bear in mind, it's much better to be wrong in skepticism than zealous in error.

There is being wrong in skepticism, and there is straight up lying to bury a story. There has been no debunking. No objective analysis of evidence. Just blanket statements that it has been debunked.

As of now, there is no story to bury or lie about outside of a small group of people who believe pizzagate. That's the only factual story worth reporting as it stands. Of course, that is subject to change.

Just curious, but where did you stand on the Bill Cosby allegations?
