QB is solid. Seems to make good decisions.
Running game is probably not great
#7 looks like a good player
OL not getting a whole lot of push but pass blocking is decent
Defense seems solid

Overall, so far, looks like a sound football team but not world beaters

I think we will have opportunities to make plays IF we take advantage of them
Agreed. They’ve had some breaks and they looked poised and well coached. Their D Line is getting a lot of push, but their OL run blocking looks suspect. Their backs are small but look pretty quick.
This game is winnable for sure, but we cannot go cold and rely on the run like we did Thursday.

Tennessee's O-Line dominated Bowling Green's D-Line, but our passing game still under performed. Can we beat Pitt with just a running game?
Because the passing gmae wasn't there the last game doesn't mean it won't be there the next...I just love the confidence our fans have on the players.

Most of our players did their jobs in the first game. You want us to wait for the QB to start doing his job, because not doing his job doesn't mean that he won't? We've already waited through how many games over how many years? And you want to wait for the QB to start doing his job. How about thinking that he would have done his job if he were capable of doing it, but he did not because he is not?

Dude there is plenty of film out there on Milton. I dont get why some people think he is going to come here and magically be a completely different player. He is huge, has a quick release, and can throw 100mph fastballs. His decision making is questionable. He holds on to the ball. His deep ball is awful.

Pickett is on the bench and it is still the 3D quarter. He’s a good quarterback.

Because he had one mediocre game automatically means he is going to have another one?....Are you a psychic or something?

Ok so we should just give up on the whole season then right?...Fire CJH and go back to finding some other coach to lead us into more misery for 3-4 more years.

UMass only has 153 total yards, -3 rushing yards, and 0 points through 3 quarters. Backups in the game for Pitt.

Exactly Milton has been playing ball for a while now. He's not a freshman with a high ceiling. He is who he is and Thursday he looked Exactly the same as he did in Mich. He has a Canon arm and nothing else imo. We saw his ceiling thursday

I’ve come to the conclusion that 95% of people on here should apply to be the head coach of Tennessee football. I don’t know why our athletics directors and hiring committee don’t consult with VolNation before hiring. Seriously guys? It’s beyond ridiculous. When people can’t even be happy about a W while we try to rebuild, that’s when you know it’s a serious problem. Stop being so hostile. Be realistic but not negative. It’s not that hard.
