Seen in an interview with Dollander about the pitchers using wristbands to recieve called pitches... He said it sped up play and they played a 9 inning scrimmage in 2 and half hours.... We running a Huepal scheme on the mound?? Is this something new??

Similar to what the MLB is doing with Pitchcom so teams can’t steal signs. You can thank the Astros, Yankees, and Red Sox for that…

New rules for batters between pitches for this year too, or is it not in effect yet?
There are some new rules for this year. Modified from what we experimented with in MILB last season. Pitchers can only step off the mound twice per hitter. If there is a pickoff move to 2B and the pitcher doesn’t throw to the base, that counts as a step off, pitch clock is in effect, etc. The MILB rules are a little tougher, but those are a few of the new ones this year. Pitch clock is the main reason we went to the wristband.

Are they enforceable? That’s always the deal. We’ve had a pitch clock.
