All I know is I've worked in emergency medicine for a number of years and prolly 90+% of dog bites have been from either Pits or Rots. I'm sure that number differs from place to place.

I could understand that. But, I would honestly like to see a link confirming that Labs and Goldens were the top two dogs in the "biting" category....and why.

Like stated earlier, you won't see lab bites at the er even though they may bite as much or more... But you also bee a ratio of breed ownership:to bite.

Can't use overall numbers in either situation

I'm gonna leave it alone. But, I don't believe it. A lab or Golden my have chewed someones arm off, by mistake.... trying to get the stick from them.

I have no info on either, I was just de-valuing peoples stats into an argument that accede rational thought based on ratios, where percentages can be contorted.

I personally have no doctrine in animal chaws or gobs.

I believe any breed or mixed breed will bite. I'm more interested in which breed is likely to kill. I'm sure a few are more inclined to kill.
