If we're gonna do it, how about we improve the timing.
I agree. It never works. Like....literally ever.
He doesn't have the shiftiness or change of direction CP had. Well, I guess nobody does, but still, I don't think Pig is a playmaker. I think Devrin is better in that position IMO. Flame away
Pig isn't particularly explosive, but you guys really should check your stats before making these kinds of statements. Including this game, he now has 18 carries for 93 yards, including a 20-yard long, for roughly a 5.2 yard per carry average ( Alton Howard Stats, News, Videos, Pictures, Bio - Tennessee Volunteers - ESPN). That isn't scintillating but it isn't chopped liver either.

Can they please stop?
Tell me I'm not alone with this.
It doesn't always have to gain much, if any, yardage, although you obviously don't want to lose yardage on any play. But I'm sure they run it to make the DC consider Pig as a 2nd or 3rd RB in the backfield on certain formations. When the D sees the offense in a certain formation with Pig in particular spots, they will anticipate Pig on a reverse. It helps open the middle of LOS for Neal/lane, or for Dobbs to keep it and go away from Pig. So they will run different plays off the same set to keep the defense different things to think about, and Pig on the reverse is one of them.
