Glad someone started a thread on this. The young man has really turned it out this season. I hope he continues to increase in effectiveness and in his overall athleticism. He's been a real staple, go-to receiver for the offense. Love watching him play because he brings it on every down.

Kudos to Pig. Our bigger, more physically talented WRs should take a significant lesson from Pig. Plays with incredible effort. Plays with heart and focus and has been very consistent all year. He's proved me wrong about where he would be in the hierarchy of our WRs.

May have an outside chance to become UT's all time career leader in receptions when his career is over

Pigs played great this year and next year will be better with josh smith back but
we really need to get our down field passing game together, dobbs has got to be a
better in the pocket passer next year.I think he will.

After the last game I just knew it was gonna say over 100...drops. Don't get me wrong, I like him but my goodness he (one of many) struggled last week.

I've been thinking all this year Pig was a sr, and was happy to be wrong. Kid has been great for us, and continues to get better!

Pig reminds me of an offensive version of JJ Mccleskey. Pound for pound maybe the toughest guy on the field.

I seem to recall how some stated back in the spring/summer how he wouldn't see much playing time since he had to earn his way back on the team and missed a lot of practices. It kinda baffled me how some thought that way because of how well he played the year prior. I truly believe Pig gives his all for Tennessee every time he puts that jersey on and steps on that field.

That's what happens when u have a 5' 8" WR and u have him trying to box out DBs instead of catching in space

This forum has a love affair with Jason Croom, who isn't even a starter, but has NFL size, and it frustrates me, because our best receiver is Pig and he doesn't get enough love.

He does play with his motor running wide open. I wish it would rub off on the rest of the wr corp.

Aside from how solid he has been on the feild it's great that he is doing what it takes to let CBJ keep him on the feild. I was really bummed when he wasn't with the team. He is a game changer and I feel lucky to watch him in orange. Very proud of this young man and I look forward to watching him in orange 16 more games.

I have stated that Pig is not a gamebreaker. He has improved, but he is more of a possession receiver. VP and JS getting injured have allowed Pig to get more catches. This year his durability has made him an MVP candidate on offense.

I'm so glad he got things worked out and is playing the way he is.

Really? I would say Croom got a lot of unfair criticism early in the year. The more recent posts about him have been people recognizing that he stepped up as the season went along. Jason deserves the credit he is getting just as Pig deserves the recognition for being a great player.
