What's your favorite?

I'm partial to pickled eggs myself.

I pickle squash, jalapeno peppers, and cucumbers every year. Never have done green beans. May try it this summer.

I love to take yellow squash, zucchini, onions, bell peppers and sometimes even jalapenos, marinate them in italian dressing and cook in an aluminum foil bag over a grill. It's de-lish.

Awesome. I did that last night. Of course they were store bought and not fresh from the garden. Just not the same. I also use olive oil instead of Italian dressing. That sounds good though, I'll have to try it.

Pickles eggs have the consistency of rubber. Pickled beets on the other hand are the bomb.

Can't wait till my garden comes in, minus the jalepenos I could make a meal out of this

when the garden comes in, I'm good with that, some corn on the cob, fresh green beans and some new potatoes fried up. we used to add some sort of meat to the meal, but started finding we weren't eating much of it.

can't go without meat two or three days in a row though. Just can't.

My neighbor has about a dozen jars of pickled fetuses in his garage, but he's never offered me any so I don't know what they taste like.

BTW, that wouldn't be considered cannibalism would it? Since abortion isn't murder since its not a life then technically they are not humans...right?
