The shooting guard poll will be a dog fight. But if he's healthy, it's Daniel's to lose. Bowden, Turner, Johnson, and maybe even Bone will be in a battle. But maybe we'll run two 2s a lot if it doesn't create a problem on defense.

I don't see Johnson or Bone being in the hunt for the starting 2 spot...I'm thinking Daniel, Turner, Bowden and maybe Darrington as the options.

Only Bone or Johnson if they absolutely need to be playing. I really doubt that that can be Bone based on what I've seen of him... he just can't shoot very well. But Johnson might be a guy that has to be on the court (although he can't shoot real well either), but as I said elsewhere and took plenty of ****... Johnson could be the 3 and Schofield the 2. It probably comes down to who steps it up on defense. Before the trip I figured Bowden or Daniel were locks at the 2 and Turner wouldn't be a factor. But it seems as if Turner has maybe rededicated himself to be a P-5 regular.

If I remember correctly, I wasn't impressed at all with darrington, until what I've heard about on the euro trip, and just seeing how he handles himself. He's gonna be a bucket getter.

Of all the position predictions it looks like we were off at the PG the most. Daniel has been a pleasant surprise... I thought he'd be the 2 and Darrington the PG.

Bone is playing much better. Bone and Daniel should be pushing each other fighting it out for PT all season. Bone started tonight versus High Point, but Daniel gets 10 assists has and zero turnovers. Bone has that blazing speed which will be a great thing to exploit if he can keep his TOs down.

Sure is fun to watch when the PGs aren't converted forwards. This might be the best group of PGs that TN has ever had on a roster... even though most are actually combo 1/2s.

I expect Daniel to be the 2nd best player on the team this year behind Williams.

I never understood the thought process behind him at the 2.

Apparently Barnes didnt either.

It was because he was the leading scorer in the country two years ago rather than leading the country in assists.
