Phish, the legendary jam band, just announced they added TBA on 6-10 for their comeback tour!!
Phish :: Tour Dates
Not sure how excited anyone else on here will be, but I was stoked:dance2: and thought I'd let everyone else know. BTW I wasn't sure which forum to post this in.

Damn. Do you know how many of our players are going to get busted with Hippie Lettuce at this concert? Kiffin will have to clean the entire house :D

Awesome news. Last concert I saw in TBA was George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. I think the Student Council was behind that one. I'm sure Phish will will the place to the rafters.

Anyone got access to some box seats they'd like to sell? ;-)

saw pearl jam at tba and i must say tba is a rotten place for a show. incredibly sterile, security making people sit down (on the floor) and just not a fun place. i've seen 400-500 shows and this was easily in the worst 5 venues i've been to.

I used to work event staff at TBA and yes, it is a horrible place for a concert. Too big and sterile. I miss the shows they used to do in the Worlds Fair Park lawn. Lots of room, easy to make it to the front, great backdrop and plenty of ventilation for the hippy lettuce.

I haven't ever saw Phish Live, but I saw Trey Anastasio and Mike Gordon at Bonnaroo a while back. I might have to check this out.

they'll still play bonnaroo.

the renovations have made concerts much better at TBA.

I plan on going, but hopefully the stench from the hippies will be gone by the exhibition games in the Winter.

I thought that there was some restriction where the bands can't play within a certain radius of Manchester within so many months of the festival.

i would assume that since AC Entertainment books shows in Knoxville and for bonnaroo, they'll overlook it.

but yes, i had heard something like that too.

Of all the threads that have descended into a weed discussion, this is really the only one that makes sense, and yet, it hasn't.

Get back to me when they book Springsteen, ZZ Top, Sting, Neil Young, CSN, or Tom Waits. :clapping:

There are some rumors going around suggesting that Bonnaroo might have fallen through and AC put it in Thompson/ Boling Arena hoping folks just come a day early and see Phish in Knoxville.
