Well said. Bama put up their best offensive numbers in school history. Kiffin also did a pretty good job with Jonathan Crompton. He went from a bust during Fulmer's last year to a 5th round draft pick in one year with Kiffin.

as they should put up numbers...#1 class 6+ years talent everywhere...2 losses should not be acceptable.......think about it has anyone ever recruited that well!!!!!!!!!:loco:

Bammer will probably be 11-1 but hopefully with a little luck go 10-2.

Alabama has that 5* kid from Oklahoma that everyone wanted. He redshirted this year and I expect them to have him ready to play next year.Their recruiting is such that it's a plug and play system now.

Rebuilding for Bama isn't like everyone else. A rebuilding team under NicK Satan is probably a 10-2 team.

For some reason I think Bama will be alright.

Yeah, they'll run out into the neighborhoods around campus searching for anyone I'm sure. Hopefully, their next group up was overrated, divided, lazy and a host of other negatives, coming into next season. It may get interesting at BDS in 15' when we come in there.

That's overly generic analysis. Anyone who doesn't see that Lane Kiffin did a pretty damn good job as OC is exhibiting willful ignorance. I know it's the MO to hate him after what he did to our program, but he is a smart OC.

Did he benefit by having experienced, stud players? Absolutely. But there are a lot of bad OC (and Dooley showed us bad DC) hires that squander a full cupboard.

Bama has had #1 overall recruiting classes the last 6+ years. If this past year didn't convince you he was a good OC, we'll see what he does with another full cupboard of great (just inexperienced) talent.

Not to toot his horn too much, just don't be so ignorant about his abilities.

I'm certainly not ignorant of his abilities. But at the same time, people are giving him far too much credit for something that is completely out of his control. And that's the God given talent Cooper, Sims, et al are out there showing the world. Provided Kiffin's calling the plays that get them in position, but those kinds of players could make anyone look good. (reference Bray and Patterson during the Dooley years)

It's been a complete Kiffin love fest all year long and it's gotten on my nerves. There is no reason to think he's God's gift to offense coordinator position like the sportscasters and even some on here have made him out to be.

Kiffin is given far too much credit and too many broadcasters have a man-crush on him. It is sickening. The Auburn game was a prime example. The announcers went on and on about Kiffin. Let me ask this... Who did a better job, Auburn's OC or Kiffin? Bama was playing against one of the worst defenses in the SEC and Auburn against one of the toughest. Auburn nearly pulled the upset. How many times did the announcers even mention Auburn's OC? How many Vol fans even know his name? Kiffin is an over-hyped prick. With talent like Bama has, who wouldnt have a good offense? They have had the #1 class in the country for how many straight years?

Exactly! Say what you want about Kiffin, but he has proven to anyone who really knows football his offensive talents. He has the touch when it comes to developing quarterbacks.

With the talent they have there, I wouldn't be surprised to see another record breaking year for the offense. They did not lose that OSU game because of the offense.

Glad they lost though, only wish there was a way both teams could have.....lol.

I think it helped to play the end of the season without AJ. It allowed other players to step up and not lose production in a season that we have a strong possibility of winning the East. Don't get me wrong, I would've loved to have AJ just as much as the next person, but in the long run I think this helps.

I still wish he would've been able to experience that bowl win with the rest of the team. Especially after the effort and production he's given this program.

But I do agree with what you're saying.. But I think Dillon Bates will be our MLB next year

USCe, UF, Mizzou, and UGA will all have 10 starters or less returning after one factors in the exits of third year players from their respective rosters. The eastern division will be Tennessee's for the taking.

You're setting yourself up for disappointment

We're tied with Vandy for returning the most in the SEC at 18.

We return 10 on offense (lose Gilliam) and 8 on defense (lose Williams, A.J., and Coleman).

Bama returns only 12, and just 4 on offense. New QB, no Cooper...ouch. Anyone think Kiffin will still be regarded as a genius next season?

In other words, we are going to be one of the better teams in the country.

Quick thoughts from a paused episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine:

-Alabama is going to be intriguing for an entirely different reason than usual next year. Plausible that they go back to the "game manager" offense with Coker playing the role of JP Wilson.
-Miss State is going to hit regression harder than puberty hits middle schoolers.
-I don't want to say it, but if Derek Mason is good whatsoever...Vandy may just threaten a bowl game.
-LSU will be a West threat again.
-Ole Miss already in line for my list of Most Disappointing 2015 Teams thanks to having Hugh Freeze as HC.
-Vols.

How accurate is this thing at this point, though?

The deadline for declaring early entry into the NFL draft isn't until the 15th.

I'm pretty sure it only takes into account seniors. Other teams could lose even more players.

Don't know how many wins we'll get next year, I'm hoping 8 or 9. I do think we can be in every game we play and that our days of being double digit underdogs to anyone are a thing of the past...

I wouldn't count out Mizzou in the east race. Everyone has underestimated them for 2 years.

They're the easy favorite imo. If we continue to progress we can challenge, but we're a dark horse going into next year. Mizzou should be the favorite, followed by Georgia and then us imo.
