Phil Steele is on paul finebaum radio show and predicted an 8 and 4 season for Vols losing to florida, georgia, auburn, and south carolina. He said auburn might run table based on their schedule.

No team playing an SEC schedule has a favorable schedule.

I'm fairly confident that I would self-destruct if that happened.

NO WAY in hell this happens. Losing to Florida, Auburn, and Georgia would mean losing three consecutive SEC games. I can only think of one time that has happened in my entire life. We win at least one of those three, maybe even 2.

And who's gonna be the QB of this undefeated Auburn team?

People say the dumbest things on the record.

And in 05 we were preseason #2 I think and were expected to go to the NC game and we went 6-5. And on paper we looked like a powerhouse team but could not get it together.

I think we have a great team this year! I think even losing our defensive ends I believe we have a stronger team then last year. And hopefully we got some JC guys that will come in a play a big role as well.

I say if we beat Florida we make it back to the SEC Championship game.
And no way in Hell is South Carolina beating us. Auburn will be a good game neither team real familiar with the other so it makes it very interesting. Georgia will be a lot closer then last year but they have some banged up O line and I am not a fan of Strattford. Florida is gonna be fast but there defense is still a little shaky it will be a lot closer then last year for sure!

GO VOLS:yahoo:

I do not understand your statement. It's not like SC is terrible. In the Spurrier era at SC:

2007: UTK has to score a last second FG in regulation and get a missed FG by SC in overtime to steal victory from the jaws of defeat.

2006: SC leads at the end of the 3rd Quarter before the Vols finally manage to get in gear and put up 17 unanswered points, eventually winning by a TD.

2005: Cocks lick Vols in Neyland.

I have the same feeling guys. I could see us going 8-4. Those are all tough games. But I could also see us going 10-2/11-1

I love how you put things. We just barely win but you make it seem as though we were drubbed by SC.

I mean a loss is a loss but come on...

There, just so people remember what getting 'licked" means in your mind.
