great, first thing on campus on sportscenter is Phil talking about working hard .. I really hate it for him, he is 150-50.. but most of those losses have happened since 2005. Bye Phil, thanks for all you did while at Tennessee, but time to move on!

He wouldn't even look at the camera and held his head downward? good gosh, I wished he would show some emotions more often and absolutely get pissed off and fired up sometimes and maybe it would show the players he cares more than the frowny look and hand clap....

but i think they need to go back to basics and find 5 players of the 90something roster that will block for more than 1 play a game............ GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...

Phil looks really defeated in pictures and the majority of the clips and blurbs I see of him on TV. The man meant a lot to this program in the 90's, but I think he really thought he could right the ship after 2005. This season going the way it's going has clearly taken its toll on him.

Yeah, it's tough to see the apparent toll this has taken on him. I wish him well, but it is beyond time for him to call it quits as HC here.

ESPN just reported Fulmer's rumored departure at Tennessee is untrue. This according to Coach Fulmer's agent.

Yea I saw that and a media clip of Fulmer saying these were just rumors. I really hope that they don't retain him. It would be ridiculous if they didn't get rid of Phil.

150-50 = 9-3 average career.

Didn't Frank Solich have a similar annual record (although much shorter tenure)? Remember the uproar at Nebraska when he went like 9-2 and 8-3 and kept losing to Oklahoma? Remember the, "We're Nebraska.... This is unacceptable.... We got TRADITION"?.... Remember the initial love Bill Callahan received? Didn't Callahan get a fat extension in year 2 or 3?

Seems very similar to the position we are all in now.....

Fast forward and now look at Nebraska..... Their fans only dream of 8-9 wins..... Don't get me wrong, I think Bo will get them on the right track very soon. But my point is that we are at a very critical juncture and the wrong move could cost us more than we realize.

I for one would like to see a change but not just for the sake of it. I think Hamilton should leave no stone unturned..... Don't settle for the "vogue" seletion...... Go after a whale and pay him a ton like Bama did!!!

Don't pay attention to the words; people lie. People’s body language usually tells the truth. I think he is gone and he knows it.

He could have resigned after the bowl game last year. He knew that he backed into the SECC, and he knew that it was over then. His pride/selfishness has led to his (and our) predicament now.

Please resign PhiLLLLLL-up!

Lloyd Carr from Michigan was basically ran off after posting a great record too.. and a NC... at least he did the respectful thing and retire
Unfortunately, Coach Carr seems to have left the cupboard quite bare in Ann Arbor.

I don't think it is so much Carr leaving the cupboard bare as all the players leaving for the draft or transfer because they didn't want to spend a year on the new system.
